The rice did not taste great and the meat had little flavor compared to other places with carne asada burritos. The salsas they gave me were good, but barely filled up and I ran out. The other carnicerias in the area usually have fresh made guacamole to buy...this place did not. It must have been 120+ degrees in that place. They had a giant fan going, so maybe the AC was out. Someone cooking my food in that kind of heat does not make me feel great.

I always get the plate to go: the tortillas are served nice and hot and everything is so tasty. The shop is clean and neat and the owner speaks both Spanish and English. Haven't bought anything from the butcher side yet, but the cuts of meat look great.

You order at the counter, and you can either dine in or take your food to go. One thing that really stood out to us was how accommodating they were when we came in shortly before closing. Even though we ended up taking our food to go, they were incredibly kind, and the food was just as delicious at home as it is when dining in. We've tried the chicken chimichangas, cheese enchiladas, and carne asada burritos, and everything has been fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. I especially love their red enchilada sauce, and the homemade salsa they serve is so excellent! Everything has been so good-Im not sure I can pick a favorite dish just yet! The manager, who is there every time we visit, is one of the nicest people you'll meet. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in the restaurant. We're always happy to support a local family business like this. If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Mexican food, outstanding customer service, and a place that truly makes you feel welcome!

We have been patronizing this restaurant for many years and I have finally found a food item that I…read moredidn't like. I know, everyone has an opinion that may differ from the person at the next table, but first I will tell you what I liked. I won't detract from their establishment with anything less than a five star rating just because I didn't like an item. This was the first time that I didn't thoroughly like everything. In all our visits, I had never tried the albondigas. Today, I did! While I prefer the stronger green chile variation of albondigas, this bowl was excellent! It was mildly spicy, but so very tasty! I would definitely order it again. My wife had the shrimp fajita plate with calabacitas instead of bell pepper. She really liked it. Now, what I didn't like was the quesadilla supreme with chorizo. I had never ordered it here even though I absolutely love chorizo. It was bland with very little spice. Some people may like it like that, but I expected at least a medium spicyness. We will continue to eat at this restaurant because there are so many wonderful items, but I would never order a chorizo item again. The employees have always been efficient and the establishment has always appeared clean. Oh! Before I forget, I must mention that the one item that keeps us coming back is their excellent salsa that is served with the chips. Always good!

On to the food...The torta & fries were delicious. My hubby devoured his breakfast burrito (and some of my fries. haha). He was able to try a "mexican" dr pepper. That was neat since we only ever see coke & pepsi in the "mexican" style. It tasted the same, though, if you were wondering. Because the food tasted good and it wasn't busy, I'd be open to eating here again. For half the time, they did have pretty loud corridos playing on their system. The music was fine, but the volume made it hard to have a conversation.
