Best Mexican restaurant in town! Greay food and fast service! I love their chicken quesadillas! They have a great deal on margaritas on Tuesdays and a variety of flavors. I recommend the Raspberry Margaritas! One of the owners also introduced me to the Mexican Coffee (tequila, coffee, kahlua and more) By far my favorite drink there! Nice place, friendly, very clean. I got enchiladas, they tasted great. The customers I was with got fajita tacos and loved them. They have expanded the building by enclosing a patio area. Their menu isn't huge and confusing. They have a bar, it looks like a great place to come in for dinner and have a good time with friends. Definately will be back! read more

The best Mexican restaurant in the area, especially if you like chicken tacos and the pricing is fair too. Recommended by friends, and doing the same for you if looking. I ordered take out for lunch for a coworker and myself. I had my usual 2 chicken taco lunch special and she got a steak torta. My taco lunch special was great - the corn tortillas cooked perfectly, the chicken was amazing in a light red sauce not the dry cooked chicken you get at other places. I love the cheese thus use. The rice and beans are pretty good also. My coworker had the carne asada and she said the torta was a bit soggy but she also asked for extra sour cream. I rarely dine in but it's always been a great experience. The margaritas are amazing. read more

This is the best Mexican restaurant in town. Locals have their preferences, of course (El Campesino and El Mexicano are the usual competitors). La Siesta has the best service, drinks and atmosphere, not to mention food. If you're in town for Bears camp it's a good spot to see players. The new screened-in patio is a nice addition. Suggestions: the margaritas (any flavor, they're all good); Chicken Estrella, pollo Jalisco, and the parillada (the parillada for 2 feeds 3-4; the parillada for 4 feeds an army, so order accordingly). read more

I used to come here a lot before I moved up north and it is always pretty good, they have a good margarita and good chips and salsa. They have regular salsa and a hot salsa, please note: the hot salsa is very hot and you only get small water glasses, soo make sure you like spicy things! I think there food is okay, every time I go, everyone else loves there food, so I think I'm just the odd ball in this mix. Also, I usually only get the chicken tacos which just taste like chicken tacos soooooo nothing too exciting, but lots of options on the menu, I'm just boring with my mexican food! Chips were thick and tasty, like kettle chips. Queso watery. Kids got chicken quesadillas and they seemed ok. I got the Burrito La Siesta. Pretty big burrito with chicken, lettuce, tomato, and pineapple??? Covered in a bland tomato sauce, side of "eh" Mexican rice and beans. Chicken had next to no flavor. Hubby ordered the Burrito Ranchero with beef. It had potatoes in it??? He also got a taco with beef and cheese. He said the taco shell was homemade and food tasting, but it also had potatoes in it. Definitely odd. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular worth $47 for two adults and kids. read more

I go here with my family quite often. I don't care for the food really but I have to go. Food is kinda bland and I think quantities could be bigger. Inside is pretty nice. I ordered take out before to bring home to my prego wife. The order got messed up and the lady there tried blaming it on me. Sorry I don't like arguing when I know what I ordered. The teenage waitress wanted to know if we were ready to order 20 seconds after we were seated. The salsa was thin, watery and mild enough for baby formula. They are stingy with the chips. Without asking me first, they put a lime in my Dos Eques, which ruins any beer except Corona. The fajitas had less beef and far less flavor than any I have ever had. Num Num! La Siesta is great, been visiting for over 5 years now. The food is the best in town and the margaritas are delicious, a little pricey though! Everything on the Menu has been delicious, I especially like their enchiladas. The steak they use in their food is always tender and no fat or gristle. This restaurant is also very clean, their bathrooms are the cleanest I've seen in a small restaurant. That says allot for me, if the bathrooms are dirty, imagine the kitchen. read more

i personally think by the ratings that the drinks helped the food there are no seasoning or marinades with the chicken nor the steak it had no taste at all i had the steak enchiladas and the girlfriend had the chicken fajitas and we werent impressed the salsa tasted and looked like tomato soup with onions in it on the other hand the waiters were very nice read more
