The ambiance is 0 because this is in a gas station but I would absolutely eat here again. We got the chorizo + jalapeno pupusas and they were both phenomenally flavored, fresh and hot. Make sure you get the slaw too!

It is usually stuffed with one or more ingredients. These may include cheese (such as quesillo or cheese with loroco buds), chicharrón, squash, or refried beans. It is typically accompanied by curtido (a spicy cabbage slaw), and tomato salsa, and is traditionally eaten by hand, without the use of utensils. The exact origin of the pupusa has not been proven." Wikipedia (You can go ahead and hit that useful vote now) The pupusa's here are made fresh the corn meal is excellent, the cheese is delicious. The cabbage slaw is very good as well. Yummy stuff my fellow Yelpers. At about $2 apiece you can't get a better lunch under $5. On every visit I see them peeling tamarinds for the Aguas Frescas here, super fresh and delicious! Everyone at El Mana is a volunteer, with proceeds going to the construction of a church. Eat Pupusas, do good! There may be a bit of a language barrier at the counter but well worth it for what your getting, and the good you're doing! You owe me.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place is a local favorite. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the menu offers a great selection of traditional Mexican dishes, along with a few Salvadoran influences that make it even more unique. One of the highlights of the evening was meeting the owner, Antonio Ramirez. Throughout the meal, he made his way around the restaurant, stopping at each table with a smile to ask how everything was and to make sure guests were enjoying themselves. That level of personal attention is becoming increasingly rare and speaks volumes about how much he cares about both the food and the customer experience. It's also obvious that the local college crowd has discovered this gem. There were plenty of students enjoying dinner, and it seemed like the margaritas were especially popular--particularly when Mom and Dad were picking up the tab! Fortunately, the margaritas are well worth it, with generous pours and plenty of options to choose from. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. Most importantly, the flavors felt authentic and homemade rather than the typical chain restaurant version of Mexican food.

I have never experienced such blatant disrespect and hostility from a service professional in my life. From the moment I walked through the door, the cashier was antagonistic, aggressive, and completely unprovoked. Instead of a greeting, I was met with an immediate confrontation where she had the audacity to claim I was "being rude" before I had even finished my order. It was a bizarre and baseless power trip. Her customer service wasn't just poor--it was nonexistent. The Breaking Points: Hostile Environment: She created a conflict out of thin air and used it as an excuse to provide terrible service. Refusal of Refund: Despite the hostile interaction and the fact that I no longer felt comfortable eating there, she flatly refused to provide a refund for my transaction. Unwarranted Escalation: To top it all off, after being the primary aggressor, she told me to leave the restaurant. It is clear this employee has no interest in hospitality or basic human decency. If you enjoy being insulted and then robbed of your money, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away. Management needs to address this immediately; keeping someone this toxic on the front lines is a massive liability to the business. Take a close look at the previous reviews... it clearly says the cashier is extremely rude..
