Went for weekend lunch, and was not busy which can only be a good thing in balmain, as the crowds kill you. Usually I look for the busiest place to eat but this was a parental recommendation so not necessary.
Tapas were YUM, all tried were awesome. Inclusions were spanish tortilla, garlic prawns (just ask for no chilli if someone on the table doesn't like it) marinaded artichokes, meatballs, chicken croquettes, grilled octupus, green olive bread.
Also got a paella to share, which melted in your mouth. Just the right amount of gooey garlicky rice and plenty of seafood and chicken.
Was too stuffed for dessert.
Potential downside is there are only 2 toilets in the whole restaurant - could be nasty when it gets busy, especially due to the richness of the food and the copious amounts of wine or sangria that may be consumed... read more
