Having visited the Quercy region of France for many years, and now living here, we can highly recommend this restaurant which has an excellent reputation locally.
The restaurant is in a converted old village school and nothing is better than to sit in the old playground under the shade of plane trees on a warm sunny afternoon experiencing Noelle's warm welcome and Jacque's excellent cuisine. The five course menu offers a choice of starter, main and dessert dishes all cooked to a very high standard. It isn't a cheap option but if you are in the area do try it. You will need to book ahead.
There is a book about the restuarant and the village, Les Arques, 'From Here You Can't See Paris' by Michael S Sanders, worth a read before you travel here. read more
