Today 2/28/21 we ordered green chili enchiladas with a small salad, smothered burrito with chicken and they put beef instead!!!!! That's not very nice to do to a person. When my husband called back to let them know that our order was wrong she did say that they would make another one correctly and my husband said no to it. Simply because it should have been done right the first time. We have never had bad service before. We will not be going there again. The lady on the phone said "well alright simple enough " and hung up on us while we were talking to her!!!!! So very unprofessional

    Philly Sandwich great taste.

Now it's just my fiance and I and we would have loved a single order of chips and dip for maybe a few bucks but thats not an option. We ended up getting it anyway and the salsa was good but spicy so be aware of that. I ordered a chicken burrito smothered in queso and it was delicious! The chicken was seasoned well and the queso was very good. I could give this burrito itself 5/5 stars. My fiance ordered the green chile burger and said it was good, but said it was very salty. place seemed very clean and was well decorated with beautiful paintings on the wall. Over all good restaurant to stop at and the waitress was friendly and attentive.

By…read morethe time I got to Tularosa, I was famished and so chose this place over a couple of others based on Yelp ratings. When I pulled into the parking lot, it was nearly empty but the hour was late and the possible lunch rush long over. It turned out I was the only customer. I was quickly seated and waited on but I noticed that the menu was dog-eared and a lot of items were priced quite high. Maybe I was paying for the faux Mexican atmosphere. I settled on stacked enchiladas with rice and beans. What could go wrong with a standard item in New Mexican restaurants, right? It turns out that while the red chile was plenty spicy, the plate had been microwaved with the shredded beef burnt and the melted cheese around the edges of the plate burned as well. I have a policy not to send anything back as it invites a loogie, but I also have the policy of crossing an offending establishment off my list of dining possibilities. While the server was polite, the food was unacceptable. Next time in Tularosa, I'll eat elsewhere.

Lescombes Winery & Bistro - Bistro Comfort Without Leaving the Room…read more After a full day hiking around White Sands National Park and a quick wine tasting, we hit that point where getting dressed for dinner felt like too much effort. Delivery it was, and Lescombes came through. Ordering was easy, delivery was quick, and the packaging? Surprisingly solid. The kind of containers that make you feel like your food might actually survive the journey intact. Small victory, big appreciation. We went with Brussels sprouts, pecan pesto and marinara meatballs, and a roasted beet salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The standout was definitely the pecan pesto meatballs. Rich, balanced, and honestly the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite. The only thing missing? A proper glass of Cabernet to go with it. That felt like a missed opportunity on our part. One small note, the utensils didn't quite match the quality of the rest. A bit flimsy and underwhelming compared to the sturdy containers. Not a dealbreaker, but an easy upgrade that would elevate the whole experience. All in all, a great option when you want something a little nicer without leaving your room. Sometimes the best dinner is the one you don't have to get dressed for.

Called inquiring about reservations, told it's first come first serve and I should expect about a 15-20 min wait. Showed up, 3 adults w/ 3 kids at 5:30. Was told I was the 2nd name behind an 11 top, and should be able to be seated in 5 min due to a few tables just waiting to be cleared upstairs. 20 mins later I watched them clear a 6 top at the front door downstairs, then split it so they could seat two tables of 4 who had shown up after my family. After waiting another 10 min I asked about how long we were looking at, the woman at the door told me she would go upstairs and check on the table, she returned to inform me that I was now looking at probably 20 min before we could be seated. We left... I don't know if the elderly woman working as a hostess at the door is an owner, a wife, family friend, or simply a pity hire due to her old age, but she has no business working customer service at a restaurant. She lied to me and several other groups about wait times, and seating availability only to double down several times about how soon we will be seated. She obviously has zero idea about how food service works, customer service relations, or kitchen service/food service times. Side note: an obviously drunk group of six made their way in during my wait, the bartender had no issue serving them, fingers crossed they weren't driving home, but I doubt anyone is that lucky.

We were told that the wait time was 1.5 hours, and we decided to wait in the bar. Brianna, the amazing manager (we had met her on our previous visit) arranged to have us seated in the bar for dinner, no waiting! There we met the incredible Ed the Barman, who took care of us personally, both drinks and dinner. Ed made us the best martinis we had in years and even created a special cocktail for my wife. We had the onion rings as an appetizer, which were amazingly tasty. Among the four of us, we had shrimp cocktail, prime rib, sirloin, and filet mignon. We had a side of excellent grilled asparagus and my wife had a superb Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. For dessert, we enjoyed cheesecake and carrot cake, both top-notch. My father, who was from the East Coast and constantly in search of 'New York style' cheesecake, would have been delighted. For our family, Ranchers is the cream of the crop in Ruidoso. Brianna and Ed, along with other employees, turned our anniversary into a world-class celebration! Thank you, Brianna, Ed, and all the Ranchers staff. (If you go to see Ed, which we recommend, be sure to wear a Hawaiian shirt.)

We reserved seats in the bar area which was dimly lit and so quiet and intimate. The service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. The food was - wow, wow, WOW!! We have never been here before so I'm not sure what the normal menu is - there was an option for a turkey & ham dish for Thanksgiving but we both opted for the ribeye. Hands down the best steak I have ever had. It was served with some delicious lightly baked/fried... I'm not sure .. maybe toasted ... potato that was mashed inside that was like a pillow of heaven, and also came with a perfectly roasted side of broccolini. We're definitely making reservations for Christmas! If you are looking for something less intimate, book the dining room - that seemed more boisterous and had more lighting than the bar area. Our meal, the service, the ambience - it was all absolutely perfect!! 10/10!!
