We called a local towing company who arrived 28 minutes later. NOT end of this story. We are told AAA will reimburse us for local towing company. We go to Port Charlotte office of AAA get the form. fill it out , add the towing company receipt and mail it in for reimbursement. Well now we get an email that our online application did not include he receipt. Dilatory tactics fine print on AAA states they will only reimburse what THEIR cost to tow would have been NOT what we paid. ON AND ON this poor service on the road with even worst post claim tactics tells me to cancel our membership and bad mouth these folks as often and vocally as possible. U-Break I Tow had great rates and, after talking to the owner Louis, I felt they were the right choice. Louis came out a couple of hours later and towed the car. He also took time to go through a bunch of odd keys and was finally able to get the car door open and jump start the car. I highly recommend this company for towing!
