At this point, the staff introduced themselves and discussed the menu for the evening. The menu is pretty much comprised of a pre fixe which starts at about 435 euros per person. You can add on a cheese selection and wine for an additional cost. I opted for the pre fixe menu and was invited inside to enjoy the rest of the meal in the main dining room, which was very elegant and thoughtfully appointed. Seated by the window, it was nice being able to see the flickering candles outside cast against the bright moon above. From beginning to end, the meal was impeccable. With warm friendly service, elegant environs and great company, the time passed quickly. Well worth the hefty price tag and well deserved Three Michelin Stars. We finally found the place by asking locals in the area. There are a lot of stairs required to reach the restaurant so it's definitely not accessible or stroller friendly, however we decided to lug the stroller up so we could enjoy the meal. Once we finally found the place, it definitely did not disappoint. The food was stellar, as was the view and atmosphere. I had scallops and my husband had the fillet of beef. Our server, Caroline, was outstanding and super accommodating! One of the reviewers commented on portion size - I'd say the portion size was too small for me. For days, I tried to make a reservation but no one answered the phone. I tried multiple times of day. When we were finally there, I tried to give this restaurant a chance. But, while they only had two tables seated, they told me that they were so booked that they couldn't possibly make room for us. After I ate at a restaurant that cares to have customers, I looked back at this place, and there were still many open tables. If you have a reservation here, it might be worth trying. But, if you don't or, as I did, tried to make one but couldn't get in touch with an employee here who bothers to work and found that impossible, there are nearby restaurants that actually care to serve customers and actually want business. Please give them your money rather than these gibronis. If you're an American looking for a place that will treat you and your party properly, this place won't. History Farigoule a bit up the way will at least treat you like a human.
