Sainte-Maxime is not a town short of restaurants, so one has to start somewhere, and for me Restaurant L'Endroit came top of my shortlist having spent some time making a walking reconnaissance beforehand.
The thing that initially appealed was interesting menu at a reasonable price (a common criticism I have of the seafront towns of the Cote d'Azur is the lack of variety in menus).
I was happy with my choice, with both the main course (Pork Noisette on Tagliatelle in a Fig sauce) and wine (choosing Rose on "when in Provence" basis, and being particularly pleased with the Chateau Barbeiranne) deserving commendation.
