A classic and well known beach club in Saint Tropez. I love coming here because it's such a down to earth place. Of course it's also visited by the rich and famous. The beach is ok even, though the mattresses lay directly on the ground instead of being on a bed. The staff is amazing and friendly.

Very beautiful but overpriced and overrated beach club. We went to several other beach clubs and they were much nicer. This one has the most American tourists and all of the employees speak English. Don't get me wrong, we had a wonderful day there, but some of the other beach clubs are much nicer. The gift shop is super over priced. Food was delicious but overpriced. Gorgeous beach and water! Enjoy

The lunch was absolutely delicious! The beach itself is totally overrated. Paid 61 euros to sit all the way in the back right next to the walkway for 2 sun beds, and yes we had a reservation. The best part is that after all that, towels are NOT included and they are sold for 80 euros each in their store (LOL, what a joke right?!) Guess what? The seaweed was in front of all the Club 55 beach and we pretty much went in the water in front of the public beach, literally right next door. Anyways, valet is complimentary and the lunch was indeed very very good! We ordered a pitcher of sangria, prosciutto and melon, beef tartar, and the sole meunière. Highly recommend lunch here! Everything was just oh so delicious and amazing.

Restaurant /bar.

This place is horrible. We ordered a salad. Mushy tomatoes slathered with goat cheese and some gelatinous yellow cheese on top. They didn't know how to make a tequila, neat. Service was non-existent and the place was practically empty. Don't waste your time or money to go to this supposedly great spot. Don't know what the appeal is. The food was bad and the service was worse. The host for the restaurant was well aware we were not happy and he did nothing. The waitress- "Sandrina" or something like that was haughty and rude as well. What a joke. This place is for people with no taste, literally. Incredibly bad and not even mediocre.

Tip: Reserve well in advance, and aim for a late lunch when the energy is relaxed and the sunlight hits just right. We had the best time!

Great atmosphere - slow service. Also be aware if you are visiting none of the items are listed in English.

We had…read morereservations at 3pm but I recommend coming here around 6pm since the place gets more lit/ fun with dancing. Everything was top notch in terms of experience and service. We received complimentary shots at the start and end of our dining. The cocktails are very delicious and refreshing. For our entree we both got the steak with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were absolutely amazing and the perfect side. The steak arrived cold but they quickly brought us back some warm steak. The dancing part was fun. The staff here are all very friendly and help to ensure the crowd is having a good time!

They could have called or emailed their reservations to let them know, but we got a car service from our hotel an hour away, so we were stuck. They also took my water when we arrived knowing that they were just going to turn us away. Gross. I don't get this place. Honestly, it appeared nice but people at a certain level cannot risk making a reservation just to be turned away for no reason. My guess is they didn't have enough reservations and didn't want to be open. Don't give this place your money. Then, they win and you are taking a HUGE risk even with a reservation. Also, Bagatelle, just train your staff to not be awful humans. It is bad karma.

After we shopped at Dior, bought a bag, and asked with shopping bag in hand, the host went to get the manager and we were told we could have a 4pm reservation for set price afternoon tea. If you call/email weeks or months in advance you'll probably have an easier time. Regardless, I knew it'd be like that and went mostly for the vibe/picture moments I could have. It's 55€/pp for 4 small desserts: a macaron, madeline, chocolate, and rose cream sweet, a drink of choice, and a dessert of choice (cream puffs or raspberry cake). All were great! It's definitely expensive for what it is but if you take into account the experience and ambiance, and you really like Dior, I think it's worth it.

I made reservations about a month and a half ahead of time because this place is quite popular. When I got there however they didn't have record of my reservation. You can only make reservations over the phone and you don't receive a confirmation. Luckily the host was super nice and she had a table for us anyway. While we waited to be seated, my friend checked out the inside of the store. They have some stairs leading up to it and a nice seating area up there to wait. She said the inside was gorgeous with different rooms that looked like a home. Many say that you are going for the ambiance and that the food is whatever, but I strongly disagree. I had a club sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. It came with a side of French fries and the fanciest little glass jars of condiments! They were tiny and personal so it was a super cute touch. Some of the food also comes with the Dior logo on it somehow, but not everything. My cappuccino had a Dior cinnamon topping and it looked so cool, I didn't want to drink it. I didn't get a chance to try drinks but everything else was delicious. Excellent service as well.

Here we go. The review I never thought I'd write. The review for the best restaurant I've ever…read moreeaten at in my life. My father bought a house in France almost ten years ago. He was inspired, in part, by Peter Mayle who wrote A Year In Provence. In among his many books, he mentions Auberge de la Mole as one of the places he loves. Therefore, my dad insisted on taking us. I couldn't believe that La Mole is a one stoplight town, almost impossible to find in Provence. I also couldn't believe how easy and quick it was to get seated here on a warm summer night during tourist season. The restaurant itself is completely unassuming. From the outside, it looks no different than a big brasserie. The chairs are plastic patio chairs. The awning is a tacky blue and there's a gas pump just outside of the restaurant because it used to be a filling station. However, to say this place is incredible would be an understatement. To say it isn't as close to perfect as a restaurant could get would also be wrong. Auberge de la Mole excels on every level. It's a family-run restaurant. It's an auberge (in this case, similar to an inn). The waitstaff, the cooks, the barmen are all members of the same family. They were extremely kind and the service was excellent. The way this meal works It's a feast. You only choose two dishes, the starter, and the main course. The rest of the courses are a wide assortment of different dishes that you can pick or choose from. The cheeses, the breads, the pates/foies, the desserts are all brought out in huge trays from which you can pick and eat your fill for as long as you'd like. The main dishes were of course to die for. They are all incredible and it is a feast fit for a king. The ingredients are fresh off the farm, the dishes are perfectly cooked, every bite melts away in your mouth and you find yourself unable to stop eating. You sit there for hours and you eat. It's not a dinner, it's a comprehensive dining experience. Moderation is key at this place. Because it is essentially set up as all you can eat, you need to practice self-control. You've never had better food in your entire life, so it's tough not to want to eat as much of everything as possible. However, not having known how much food there would be, we ate too much too early. But this was a lesson learned. I can't wait to go back with some friends this summer, and once again eat the most incredible meal of my life. Note: It is cash-only, so come prepared.

The best place for original Provençal cuisine!!!!! It is a nice restaurant not far from St. Tropez…read more You can sit at the lovely terrace or inside. The service is outstanding - of course!! We had a lot of great evenings there. The first course 5 different pastry with mixed pickles and delicious roasted bread. For the second course you have the choice between 4 or 5 dishes. My favourite are definitely the frogs' leg's. The main course will be served with a wonderful potato bake. You have again the choice between beef ( Filet natural or with perigord truffle) and canard. I always take the beef perigord - it is the best filet I've ever eat!! Great!! Now the cheeseboard follows - only one thing to say: YUMMY!!! The appletarte with vanilla ice cream is just as great as all the other courses. But than follows the dessert : Mousse au chocolat, crème caramel, pears in red wine and plums in red wine!!! Delicious!!!! You will be addicted! You want to come back as soon as possible!!
