If you're in St Tropez and looking for a fun restaurant you'll have to check out Bagatelle! We had reservations at 3pm but I recommend coming here around 6pm since the place gets more lit/ fun with dancing. Everything was top notch in terms of experience and service. We received complimentary shots at the start and end of our dining. The cocktails are very delicious and refreshing. For our entree we both got the steak with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were absolutely amazing and the perfect side. The steak arrived cold but they quickly brought us back some warm steak. The dancing part was fun. Turned up with a reservation to the beach club and was denied access. The VERY rude girl at front (Delfine?) told us the pool and beach were closed due to hurricane (weather report shows earliest that would arrive is Friday. It's Sunday. They could have called or emailed their reservations to let them know, but we got a car service from our hotel an hour away, so we were stuck. They also took my water when we arrived knowing that they were just going to turn us away. Gross. I don't get this place. Honestly, it appeared nice but people at a certain level cannot risk making a reservation just to be turned away for no reason. My guess is they didn't have enough reservations and didn't want to be open. Don't give this place your money. Then, they win and you are taking a HUGE risk even with a reservation. Also, Bagatelle, just train your staff to not be awful humans. It is bad karma. read more

Service was great, everyone was very nice. Ambience was loud and overwhelming, chaotic and was not cohesive, I guess some people are into that but it seemed very tacky as someone from Chicago. As for the food, oh god, it was the worst food ever. We were absolutely disgusted with what we were served and could not finish the three appetizers we had but still paid the $300USD bill. This Bagatelle was one of the funnest places in Saint Tropez, this is a perfect place to go to party it up has a great view and is located in Pampelonne Beach where you can also enjoy the sun in their cabanas. It is a lot of fun if you want drink or it is someone's birthday, you will have a blast. The food is okay nothing special so don't expect much, the tiramisu is a joke and is in a weird jar and does not taste anything like a tiramisu. The staff is friendly did not have any issues. The four stars are mainly for the atmosphere. read more

Do not support this restaurant, there are many other fun places to go in Saint Tropez. The ownership is rude and could care less about their customers or vendors. Remy and Aymeric have fled the US to move back to France and have not paid their vendors, guess it shows the moral of those guys... uneducated careless ownership is a pour reflection on a business. We ordered the crudite, the tuna tartare, the steak tartare, bottles upon bottles of rose and the best speculous tiramisu! Reservations are a must during the summer. My first & last visit ever, between the champaign showers from the drunks trying to impress the ladies to the food poisoning I got from filthy conditions, a guest in our party got it & so did my brother-in-law, what motivation would I have to attend the seedy side of St. Tropez at this shit-hole. To add insult to injury it cost over $1,400 for the day. Additionally we witnessed the food servers dumping the left over ice from the large wine buckets back into the ice machine only to be served again to an unsuspecting customer. Trendy place. The food was ok, but the atmosphere is a must if you want to party in St. Tropez. Just make sure you get there early or reserve a table in advance because it fills up early. Mixed drinks are quite good as well. read more

This place is a lot of fun. I came here twice on my last trip to St. Tropez and I love it. You can party in the restaurant/bar area or you can relax on the beach and rent a chaise. The food here is good. It's not going to blow you away but it is good. We had an enormous lunch filled with ten magnums of rose and a HUGE mojito in a champagne bucket. The menu on the beach is limited but if you ask nicely, they will bring you a few more off the menu items. We received steak tartare on the beach. I strongly suggest coming here to relax, party and enjoy St. Tropez. read more
