I came too early for our escape room and it doesn't open till 2pm on Sunday. Thankfully, I found a…read moreplace that sells milkshakes a couple doors down. I went inside and saw the various ice creams they had. Looks to be Mexican ice cream as I also saw some Mexican (or Latino) snacks available too. They had an American and Mexican version of vanilla, and I asked about the difference. The attendant mentioned Mexican vanilla was sweeter, and offered me a sample. I immediately ordered the Mexican vanilla milkshake after tasting it. It was so sweet and had a festive flavor. They made the milkshake and it took some time as they made it frothy, added the chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and even a strawberry. It was an excellent shake that was easy to drink with the thick straw provided. The sweetness of the vanilla, the hint of chocolate from the syrup, and the light strawberry flavor at the end made it so enjoyable. It wasn't cheap as it was about 8.50 after tax for a small portion, but I think it was well worth it. The dining area is spacious with ample amount of seats to enjoy the snacks and shakes. There is also the one arm bandit for kids to gamb... Er... Play to maybe win a prize. The staff was focused on the preparations of the shakes and ice cream, but are very friendly and helpful. Honestly, I am so happy I came in early before the opening time of the escape room so I could enjoy a shake before playing. Maybe the sugar helped because I actually were able to help in the rooms today. Definitely coming back to enjoy another shake whenever I visit Plant City. Overall: A

Would love to see them offer gluten-free pizza and bread choices, but otherwise, nice lunch stop. I door seating and friendly attentive staff. Lots of community giveback from the owners as well from supporting missionaries to the local high school teams. Highly recommend the strawberry lemonade and this place in general.

I saw a post on Facebook that said they actually have lunch so we wanted to check it out to support local! They are located in the same plaza as Beefs. There are small tables outside, bar seating and about 7 tables inside. You walk up to the counter to order. They have several options on their menu so I tried the sandwich tea trio. It came with 3 half sandwiches(-I thought they were each supposed to be different but I got 2 pimento cheese and 1 egg salad- I may have read the menu wrong on that though), a small cup of soup and a small strawberry salad. The bread on the sandwiches tasted old like it has been sitting in the fridge a while. Egg salad wasn't seasoned at all. I tried the Spanish bean soup and it was delicious. The strawberry salad was ok but tasted like the lettuce had not been washed. My daughter ordered a cup of the same soup I ordered. My husband and my son ordered a pizza. Here was where it went downhill: My plate was brought out before anything. And then we waited. I don't eat until everyone has their food because I have manners. We were asked what we were waiting on and then was told ok the pizza takes a little longer. Understood. Why was my plate brought out then? Once the pizza came out, my daughters soup- the same as the soup I ordered and had in front of me for 15 min- still had not come out. So I had to go stand at the counter and ask for it. To be told it would be ready in a couple of minutes. We wanted to like this place and want to support our local businesses but this was just not a win for us. If you don't mind eating in front of everyone who hasn't gotten their food you might be ok with it. I would suggest they use table numbers like Crispers does and bring everyone's food at the same time.
