By looking a google reviews I had high hopes for this place . Starting off , the salsa was very bland but I will say the cheese dip was pretty good. The enchilada and chile relleno were pretty okay. Service wise , our waiter messed up a couple of items and completely disappeared once we got our check which had no words explaining what items costed what , just numbers... More than one occasion i was overcharged. When I told the worker I was overcharged, the worker continued to repeat why do you not want to pay, or you don't want to pay. The worker would not make the charges correct, and was very rude. It appeared there might have been no real manager on duty. I have not been back. Don't eat there! read more

We went in today around 7pm today and with a group of around 30 people and was seated and accommodated quickly. And I believe they went above and beyond when it came to service. Had our chips refilled mostly as soon as we finished or got low. We never had to wait for our water or salsa to get refilled either. Overall great experience. I just wanted a little soup and salad! Pure deliciousness! I loved the presentation of the Chicken Soup with the onion, cilantro, avocado, lemon and limes "on the side" of the BIG bowl. The Tostada de Tinga was a nice surprise with lots of flavor with the tomatillo sauce. The servers were very attentive with everyone seems to work well together; assisting each other to insure their patrons are taken care of and leave happy. Usually I dine in but today decided to call it in and eat at my office. I ordered the Parrillada Mix which consists of steak, chicken, shrimp, Mexican sausage, onion, tomato, Cactus, and cheese. It was really good and the portion is so big. I couldn't finish it, honestly could feed two. They also packed some different sauces which I didn't try. I ordered around 12pm and they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes but it took 30. If you are in a time constraint maybe best not to order this dish. But love it here. read more

Great little Mexican restaurant hidden away in T'dega. Even the most basic fare on the menu (rice, beans, pico de gallo) is flavorful and hearty. La Posada is my favorite place for Mexican food in Talladega County! The staff is always friendly and efficient. The restaurant is very clean. Classic small town Mexican restaurant. Came here for lunch, drinks and dinner. Zero complaint and nothing but high praise. Staff was warm and friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. We had a bunch of different things and everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked well. My only complaint is they couldn't make a mojito... So instead I had one of the best margaritas I've ever had. Service is spot on. Food is fantastic. This was our first time trying this restaurant after reading the reviews. We pulled in and sat in the parking lot a few minutes to see how many people were going in. I counted 7 people going in and For the most part most of them were getting it to go. Went in and Wes seated immediately with chips and salsa on the table before we pulled out our chairs. We had someone checking to see if we needed anything, more chips, more salsa, refill on drinks constantly. The meals were plated and served within 5 minutes of ordering, hot and fresh.
