A bakery box of yummies, including chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, and more!
    Julie N.

Great breakfast burrito made with only the ingredients we requested. Preferring vegetarian, we included eggs, potatoes, cheese, tomatoes, and other misc veggies. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, which can really make-or-break a breakfast burrito. We added a little mild green salsa and some salt, and it was Yum! ALSO they have an amazing selection of wonderful pastries, cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, etc. We filled a bakery box with yummies to enjoy on our journey. Staff were kind and helpful. There are plenty of tables for sitting to eat. Overall it's casual, yet efficient, a perfect quick stop for great food.

Dry carnitas taco and burrito since they never give me salsa

The food is actually pretty good and fresh but you can't compare to a good Mexican restaurant. It's convenient on my way to work so I come here a lot. I'd rate it a 4 If it wasn't for them always forgetting to put salsa on the side. It should be automatic for any Mexican food. If no salsa, at least a jalapeño or Serrano. I just had a super dry taco since there was no salsa. The bread is okay and their cakes are always good.

Stumbled upon this bakery and cafe yesterday when driving through on the 101. It is super cute on the outside- very inviting. They have a large space indoor for ordering food and dining in. Everyone was very good about mask wearing (Covid). I opted for a chicken taco salad, which was pretty good. The meat had some tough pieces, but everything else was delicious. The red salsa to put on top added a lot of heat, which was great! Parking was super easy right out front. Prices are affordable and the staff were all very nice, plus the bathroom was super clean, which was nice for a stop when on a long drive!

Breakfast for 1. You order up at the counter. The employee at the register received my order but continued talking to another customer over me. I ordered an empanada which is so moist and baked perfectly. I also ordered a pan de huevo, also delicious, and a taco of birria on a corn tortilla. Coffee is fresh but area could be a little cleaner. Large dining area, plenty of room. Picked this place off the map to stop for baked goods and coffee. Bakery did NOT disappoint! Must stop for Mexican bread on my way back home. This placed made me feel as if I were back home eating locally. Worth the 5 minute detour if passing through.

It was really clean and organized. The breakfast burrito was fire. But then I got a Chile cheese tamale and didn't taste the chilie, the cheese was hard, the masa was overwhelming and a bit dry. I would go back here in the area but only for their fresh mex!

The croissant is surprisingly light and buttery. They always run out when I go buy some because it is that good!

Try the burrito bowl. They make several different kinds. The staff is very welcoming. They have a wide variety of fod and deserts.

Good food. But the service is very very slow. If you're short on time I don't recommend this place.

Horrible food, horrible bread. Prices are way to high for food and the owner is against street vendors. This place is highly overrated.

Mmmm. This place is just like mamacita's homemade cooking. It warms your soul. Buen Sazón! (Good…read moreseasoning) this place never disappoints. The Tamales are delicious and perfect masa to meat ratio. The Quesabirria's are perfectly grilled on the outside and melty cheesy on the inside. The Riblets in salsa are to die for! My mouth is watering. The Menudo is cooked to perfection with onions and cilantro and chile oil to accompany your bowl. Breakfast burritos are bomb (I ask for added refried beans) the arroz con leche is super satisfying. Like I said, this spot warms the soul

The handmade tortilla on the steak quesadilla was spectacular. Seriously, the masa alone was worth the visit. It was fresh, flavorful, and had that texture you only get when someone actually knows what they're doing with a tortilla. I ordered the goat super burrito without rice. Normally, when I hear "super," I expect sour cream and guacamole, but mine didn't come with either. What it did have, however, was what seemed like double the meat. And I'm certainly not going to complain about that. The goat was beautifully stewed, tender, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. Actually, everything here tastes fresh. And that's because it is. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste the difference. It took about 15-20 minutes from ordering to getting my food, which is completely reasonable considering everything is being prepared fresh, on the spot. There was no one else in the restaurant when I ordered, but that clearly doesn't mean this place isn't busy. It was Friday, and there was a steady stream of people coming through to pick up bakery orders. Everything in the bakery case looked amazing, and judging by the number of people coming in, I wasn't the only one who knew it. I'm just a little sad with my visit, because you can't really see into the kitchen. So I didn't get to watch the woman making the masa, mixing it between her hands with that effortless rhythm that makes you wonder how many years, or generations, it took to learn. A rhythm taught to her by her mother, who learned it from hers. Then watching her fold, shape, and press that masa would be like watching history become dinner. There was generations of tradition, technique, and love layered into something you get to hold in your hands and eat. This space is immaculate and it has soul and sol. My only reason for not giving it five stars is that everything is to-go. I really wanted to sit down and enjoy this meal right there instead of taking it with me. With food this good, handmade, and fresh, I would absolutely love to have a place to sit and savor it. Great food, handmade from scratch, generous portions, and a bakery that clearly deserves further investigation. This isn't just a place making food. It's a kitchen carrying something forward. And that's a pretty special thing.
