We came here for late dinner around 9:30pm on Monday night. Our group of nine got a table next to…read morethe wall of alcohol decorations. It's nice inside the restaurant but the light is very dim. You might need flash light to read your menu. Our server was an older gentleman. He took our drinks order very quickly. He speaks a little bit of English so that helped a bit. However there's no English menu so we still need our Spanish speaking friend to help us understand the menu. I ordered the eggplant parmesan appetizer, the beef tartare (chopped beef with mustard and some other seasonings). James ordered the surf and turf pasta. Our friends ordered a variety of dishes such as pizza, mushroom pasta, tuna salad, asparagus appetizer. Overall I feel like the dishes were all on the salty side. The tomato sauce in the eggplant parmesan was a little too salty to my taste. I finished the dish because I love eggplant and parmesan. The beef tartare had a lot of flavors in it. It's very similar to the tuna tataki except that you can taste more of the meat flavors in the beef. I am not a bug mustard fan so it's not a dish I would get again. I tried my friend's tuna in his tuna salad. It was a little too salty to both my friend and me. I tried Jame's shrimp from his surf and turf. The shrimp was also a little too salty to me. If you prefer stronger salt flavors then this restaurant is for you. The service is good. Our server didn't server our entrée until people who ordered appetizer finished their appetizer. So let the server knows if you want all the food come up together. With our group of 9, around 15% tips was included in our bill. Parking was in the parking garage. It's pretty easy.

Stopped in here for brunch on Día de la Revolución and was very pleased. At night it's an Italian…read moretrattoria, but for the brunch it was a very traditional Mexican buffet. Freshly made tortillas, fresh fruit, pan dulce, stewed chicken, stewed pork, stewed tongue(if that's your 'thing') and omelettes. They even had a huitlacoche quesadilla on request. This delicacy was new to me and very delicious. The service was actually pretty great for Guadalajara. The young server was on his toes keeping the coffee refilled and the plates cleared.
