From the 3 course Plate of the day we picked the Beef Carpaccio, the Grilled Chicken plate with a light Goat cheese dressing and salad and for dessert the Nougat ice cream. We also ordered a Cured Duck salad with assorted cheeses. Everything was delicious. The only mistake we made was ordering the 2nd salad since the Plate of the day would have more than enough for the 2 of us. With a soda and a beer the bill came to around $48 euro. My fiancé and I had lunch there the day of our engagement, so it has a special place in my heart. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. We visited Saint-Cirq in late May - so before high tourist season - so we were able to be seated immediately. The menu was great. So many of their dishes sounded delightful, it was hard to pick just one. Overall, the meal was absolutely delicious from our appetizer to dessert. The prices were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Le Cantou to anyone visiting this beautiful town!
