From the moment you walk in, Evelyn sets a professional and warm tone; she handles scheduling and insurance with such efficiency that the administrative side of the visit is completely stress-free. Her ability to balance a busy front desk while making every patient feel prioritized is a testament to her expertise. Once you are in the chair, the clinical team takes over with impressive precision. Arlette's work as a dental assistant is standout--she has a natural ability to anticipate the doctor's needs while simultaneously keeping the patient calm and comfortable. Lojain is equally professional; her technical proficiency with the X-ray equipment means you are in and out of that phase of the appointment without any of the usual discomfort or delays. It is clear they value the patient's time as much as their own. Dr. Yousif is the anchor of the practice, bringing a level of clinical rigor that is hard to match. She takes the time to explain the "why" behind every procedure, which builds immense trust. Rather than rushing through the appointment, she ensures that all questions are answered and that the treatment plan is tailored specifically to your needs. This team operates with a level of synergy that transforms a typically stressful dental visit into a smooth, positive, and highly efficient experience.

Took me over a year to write this review because I have such trauma from it. First off, I'm in my…read more30s with a missing tooth due to an infection that Dr Hejazi missed for 3 years, from a root canal I got there. Even though I'd complain of pain, & my gum receded to a "10!", it took multiple professionals here to miss the infection. Hejazi told me I must be stressed from school & needed a bite guard, which didn't even fit when it came. Thank you to Andrea who finally cared to listen and consulted a periodontist (who saw the infection without any equipment and recommended an immediate extraction.) Then the recovery process to get an implant, which took 9 months, ended up being infected because I wasn't properly instructed & didn't have antibiotics. The written discharge said Tylenol & IB. My sinus was perforated and infected as well. The pain was unbelievable & went for weeks before an xray showed the crazy amount of pus clouding my head. Dr Hejazi also offers free crown replacement as long as you keep up with your cleanings, he replaced each crown he did for me cuz they kept breaking. Also charged over 1k for each crown when my insurance told me it should have been $425, so shame on me. Call your insurance and confirm before agreeing to treatment, they also tend to use high pressure sales when agreeing to the financial aspects so you feel trapped. Definitely consult your insurance! Better yet, just don't go here. Dr Hejazi has great social skills but dentistry skills not so much. Please don't put your trust or health in this place, I made that mistake for you. (PS: they also offer perks for positive reviews)

Recently, I walked in and got punched in the face with the smell of Fabuloso. This seems to be the horribly strong smelling cleaning solution many cleaning companies are using these days. It gives me an instant headache and I was thinking I'd have to find another dentist. They were so concerned about me! Not only did they light a candle in the room I was in, they gave me lotion I was able to put under my nostrils. They also said they would ask the cleaning company to not use Fabuloso, which I couldn't believe! They are the absolute best!

I thought it was a small place until they took me in for Xray and to be seen by the doctor. They have modern devices. The doctor is really nice and the staff too. They were light handed when looking into my mouth which I like. I have anxiety whenever I go to a dentist or doctor etc. They made me felt welcome. They do have a bathroom outside of the office, you'll just have to ask for the key. It's a pretty old building.

I've always had incredible dentists, that is until I started going to Tierrasanta Dental Group…read more Office Experience: Every appointment I have had so far I have arrived and then they've told me that the appointment has to be rescheduled (staffing, appointment type, etc...). They don't call in advance to notify you and wait until you've driven all the way there. For me, that has meant I've had to find childcare or time off work to make the appointment just for them to cancel. Care Quality: In 40+ years, I've never had a cleaning where the dentist didn't come in after the cleaning to do a check of your teeth, until this dental group. In multiple appointments, I've seen the dentist for less than 5 mins and never after a cleaning. Type of Care: This office talked me into doing a deep cleaning (which wasn't necessary according to my prior dentist that I saw just before I moved to this area). I thought after pregnancy it would be a great idea to do it though, so I agreed. What they didn't tell me was that all future cleanings would therefore require a Perio Maintenance charge, that my insurance wouldn't cover. Customer Service: After I received the statement from my most recent cleaning with the Perio Maintenance charge, I called about this unauthorized charge. I spoke with the office manager, Leticia, about 3 weeks ago and she assured me she'd talk to someone that needed to authorize a write off and give me a call back. She never did. I called 3 times and left messages with her colleagues and she never called back. Today I called and she answered. She kept rehashing the same thing she's already shared with me numerous times about their process. When I try to speak to share my perspective she shuts me down and says I'm not letting her speak. I was respectful in trying to interject, but if she keeps restating the same thing over and again and not letting me speak, I'm not sure how else to resolve. She said she'd get back to me by the end of the week and essentially hung up on me. The challenge with this particular clinic is they are more interested in revenue and upselling than patient care or customer service. It stood out the very first appointment and this situation continues to highlight it. I never leave reviews, but the experience warrants it.

I would like to highlight a marketing tool created by a cooperation inorder to trick a patient into…read morebelieving that they are getting a discounted price. That tool would be The Smile Generation Fee schedule. for anyone who maybe contemplating choosing this dentist office and who is underinsured or not insured, this plan will be integrated into your estimate. if you agree to the work that is listed you will be charged around $119 to use this plan in order to receive the discount. for me the savings was over $10,000. so thats the hook. unbelievable savings presented to you as if these savings are real..THEY ARE NOT. ask for a fee schedule. the fine print states all pricing is what a general dentist would charge, but 80 percent of the procedures need a specialist. in this case`you receive a twenty percent discount off the specialist 'reasonable rate" for each procedure, the discounted price charged by the specialist will always be more than the Fee Schedule. the result is a large discount on your estimate but in reality you just paying what a surgeon would normally charge. you would think that if your paying $119 to use this SMILE GENERATION PLAN and receive the discounts associated with the fee schedule then all procedures and products you purchaced would be quoted directly from the fee schdule to your estimate. for me that was not the case. I was charged around $36,309, only an onlay($932) can be found on my estimate and the SMILE GENERRATION FEE SCHEDULE. that is to say only 2.5% of what I paid was quoted from the SGFS. FROM the remaining amount I was charged, only the abutments ($2800), the bottom partial denture($2091), and an over denture were on my bill and the SGFS. these items were priced lower on my bill than what I was quoted yet Bailey, the office manager, tried to tell me the change in price constituted an additional discount, on paper it certainly did but in actual savings it defiantly did not. in the end approx $28,576 and the 20% discount associated with my estimate did not originate from the SGFS but rather came from my surgeons "reasonable rates" and his %20 discount. it bears repeating only %20 of my total costs had anything to do with the SGFS.that is unacceptable. one last anecdote. I had multiple teeth pulled and for that I was charged for a surgical extraction. something didn't feel right so I questioned the difference between a surgical extraction and a simple extraction. the removal of bone and or sectioning would constitute a surgical extraction. I requested the doctors notes and written in the notes my surgeon wrote there was no sectioning or bone removal. it took almost 6 months but the dentist had to reimburse me the difference. altogether I was able to claw back around $6000. all of this should give you pause, but what I find to be the most egregious is the dentist found it necessary to cut ties with me. they had no problem overcharging me, ordering products I couldn't use , charging me for a miscellaneous procedure that never happened and having me prepay for a product I never received. they wanted my business. but after the the last reimbursement check was mailed to me, they decided that our "trust" had been broken. it seems like being taken advantage of is a prerecquisite for staying a patient. allegedly
