We had a massive hole in our tire and fortunately were able to get to the off ramp and park safely at a gas station. After them not being able to help us and AAA only offering a tow we looked and called La Perla tires and they said we can help you and be there in 20 minutes. This was such a great experience it was as fast as a pit crew from F1! In the time that it took my son and my husband more time to get their McDonald's than for La Perla to come and change our tire. We got a chunk of metal stuck in the tire going down the hill and our PSI was dropping so quick that we ended up on the side of the freeway at 18psi. We thought we'd make it to the tire shop as we were like 2-3 miles away. Didn't make it, gave La Perla a call and gave them our tire specs, and they quoted us $500 for labor roadside service and a new tire. It's for a model y tire 255/40R20 if anyone searches for this in the future. Honestly I think it's a bit overpriced but we didn't want to waste anymore time. They were here within 25 minutes and the whole ordeal took about an hour to solve. read more

Amazing service. Fair prices. Alfredo and Chris are terrific! Had a tire issue on our travel trailer at the base of the Grapevine on I-5. Called the nearby TA Travel repair shop. No answer. Called AAA and, to make a long story a little shorter, they tried to help but the company they dispatched was severely delayed. Ended up we put on our own spare. We decided to get all new tires that same day since we were at the start of a road trip. A friend from Bakersfield recommended we try La Perla. We called La Perla and spoke to Alfredo who quickly confirmed they had new trailer tires in stock. He gave a price estimate on the phone. He also said if we brought the trailer to them, they could immediately work on changing all 4 tires. We communicated by text our approximate ETA and upon arrival, Alfredo was there waiting to direct us where to park our 45' truck and trailer. This place is a godsend near the 5, on the 99. My rental EV tire somehow caught a flat and after trying but unable to find a place that would still be open through Hertz's roadside assistance, my tow truck driver took me here. The dude patched it up in less than 20 minutes and I was back on the road. I spent more time waiting for the damn tow truck (1.5 hours) plus getting towed to La Perla (0.5 hours). I was out of cash or I would've tipped the dude and so many truckers were stopping by with issues just as I was leaving. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Incredibly kind, fast, effective and efficient. Pros, through and through. Cost was surprisingly low: $40 to repair the tire (or maybe to replace it? It was night and I didn't check to see if the tire was the same or a replacement, but the price was still so affordable.) Got a slow-ish leak (likely a puncture) on the 99 headed North on Sunday, 6/2/24. A handful of places that were listed as open were actually closed - other places had long wait times and somewhat high estimates. Still had to get over the 99 and into LA. Limped to Bakersfield and had AAA come out and confirm status and fill tire with air so we could make it to La Perla. Once we were there, this family owned and operated team had us in and out in record time, but with such attention to the work and such care taken. 11/10 tire service providers. Can't give these guys enough credit. We got a flat tire around 8pm. We were able to get our spare tire on, but we were still 300 miles from home and didn't want to go that far at only 50 mph. So we googled tire shops, and La Perla popped up - open 24 hours, only 15 minutes away. We called them and drove to their home base (although I think they could have come to us as well). I cannot believe how efficient and straightforward the process was. We rolled up and they were ready for us. Super nice guys. They immediately got to work repairing our flat tire, taking off our spare and putting it back under the car for us, replacing the fixed tire, and checking all the tires' air pressure. We were in and out within 20 minutes and they did a quality job. Plus they accept Venmo, which was a life saver since we had no cash and were in the middle of nowhere. Cannot recommend these guys enough. We stopped for gas right after and saw a family trying to deal with a flat/spare tire and I immediately walked over and told them to go to La Perla, I was so excited to already recommend them to someone. read more

Terrible Experienced. I got a flat the other night and when I called, they said they'd be out in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later the repair truck shows up and after almost 20 minutes of the repair guy struggling to take the tire off the rim (he even asked me to hop in the back to give him a hand) he noticed he brought the wrong tire. I had to wait another 40 minutes for the other truck to show up and once the other guy showed up, they then took 30 minutes to try and mount the tire. I noticed half way through that they actually got the machine stuck and struggled to fix it. After paying way too much I was sent on my way. I didn't even make it home before the same tire went flat. I called them back for help only to be told NOW that the repair guy noticed my rim was dented and couldn't hold air but decided not to tell me for whatever reason. I took the wheel to a repair shop only for the mechanics there to tell me whoever mounted my tire last destroyed it trying to put it on. I was able to take the tire back to La Perla and was given a partial refund while constantly being told by the same repair guy that he didn't mess up my tire. read more

La Perla Tires was a godsend in a moment of need when my car developed a flat tire at the beginning of long drive from CA to TX. La Perla was the only center open on a Friday night that carried my tire. The owner who received my call provided directions to his shop and alerted the worker on duty that I would be arriving. Please note that the owner offered to drive to my location, but I declined since my spare tire was already installed and could safely get me to his shop. Once I arrived, the attendant on duty provided the requested tire change quickly and for a great price. In about 45 minutes, my car was back on the road traveling to my destination.
