All I have to say is...the absolute best. Everything is well made, looks nice and most importantly...FITS. I have a pretty much hate/hate relationship with above the belt hardware. It never fits me correctly (looking at YOU, the store whose "secret" is that you don't carry above a "C" in anything...) or it just looks terrible when it's my size. Enter La Perla...! I had a good experience here. Normally I like to splurge on Agent Provocateur, but decided to give La Perla a try. Found a really cute, functional nightgown (as opposed to a nightgown that is purely decorative). I've decided that nightgowns are my new thing. Anyway, the sales girl was very friendly. I originally tried on a pair of PJs and wasn't thrilled with them, when she remembered that there was a similar style in a nightgown. Much cuter - loved it! Even better, it was 50% off...such a deal! I also love places that carefully wrap your purchases like the treasures they are. La Perla bags come with the sweetest little ribbons...so much more pleasant to hold than the cord on most shopping bags. read more

The SoHo La Perla provided my girlfriend and me with excellent service and a huge variety of options for her to choose from. From the minute we walked in the door, the helpful staff asked us questions about what we were looking for. They offered suggestions in a way that seemed genuine and not just a sales push. They tirelessly swapped sizes, colors, and styles as my girlfriend looked for just the right pieces. I have been to several different La Perla stores in Boston, Chicago and NYC (Madison Avenue) but this was my first visit to SoHo. I was impressed with the knowledgeable staff. The store had a good selection of styles and sizes. Of course, it was immaculately clean and decorated. Ultimately, my girlfriend found exactly what she was looking for. It was her first trip to the store, and I'm sure she will be a repeat customer. The staff helped her with fitting and made sure she got exactly the styles she wanted. That's the important thing to note about La Perla - it is much more than a place to buy fancy lingerie. The bras and nightwear are flawlessly made and their associates understand the techniques that go into producing them, down to a description of the antique mills that produce Leaver's Lace. Their presentation is helpful, non-threatening, and inviting to both newcomers and existing customers. I give the SoHo La Perla my highest recommendation and would encourage any woman (or couple) to stop in and experience true service. read more

Unlike other lingerie stores in SoHo, La Perla seemed a little too sterile for me, not as fun as other stores. Nonetheless, for more basic, less provocative but still sexy stuff, La Perla offers a decent range of lingerie. Not many exciting, bright colors or lots of lace here. I'm proud to say that I'm the first to give it top ratings because I totally back up things that I believe in. I was recently in N.Y. when my last night there it poured 7 inches of rain and I "missed" my flight because it was "delayed". But really they cancelled 300 flights and I had an extra day to SHOP!!! Excited to go to SoHo and invited last minute to a mixer in Manhattan, I had to find something to wear. I found a great babydoll top at one of the boutiques but realized I didn't pack the right bra to wear. My friend encouraged me to buy one and figured we'd stop by somewhere "average". Following her lead I realized we were headed to La Perla. I immediately stopped myself in my tracks and hesitated... but with her persuasion and her understanding of my level of high expectations in everything, she bamboozled me to go. I was very impressed with the service. The representative asked me what I was looking for and gave me something of all forms and all prices. If you walk into this store, you can't complain about the prices because you shouldn't have walked into it not knowing. I would have to say that what I bought there is the first time, FIRST TIME I have bought things full price and felt and swears that they were worth every single penny.... SERIOUSLY.... I am now a La Perla addict.... I would seriously give up shoes and purses to upgrade all my lingerie to La Perla, hands down! Jennifer was so helpful, she was so accommodating to my special sizes and to the fact I wanted to stay within a reasonable budget (under $500) she even offered me a glass of water while I was deciding between styles... All while helping me and another woman who was spending a lot more than I was lol I still felt like I was just as much of a priority ;) They had all kinds of exclusive pieces I hadn't seen before and I was even able to grab a few thongs for a great price;)) When I wear my "la perla" it feels so comfortable. You actually feel naked, but still supported: NO POKING from the underwire NO Pinching from the back clasp NO adjusting the straps so they stay in place NO DISCOMFORT WHAT-SO-EVER I'm officially never ever EVER going back to "Victoria's Lies" lol read more

From the moment you walk into La Perla's SoHo boutique, you are greeted top-tier service. I hate to even bring up the topic of Victoria's Secret on the same page as La Perla, but there is just no comparison to even be made. You will not look back once you buy your first La Perla. During my most recent visit, the sales associate that helped me was kind enough to even bring out the secret box of sale pieces, of which I raided everything in my size. Make sure you ask to see the secret sale box when you are in store, your wallet will be much happier. I usually go to Agent Provocateur on Mercer but I went to the apple store near here & decided to pop in. Got 3 sets the sales rep was nice. I thought she was the only one working there until a different girl brought me a diff size in the dressing room. If I wasn't in the area I wouldn't have stopped by though. Shopped La Perla in SoHo and became an immediate addict. The lingerie is undeniably beautiful but more importantly i love the high end atmosphere and personal attention from the staff. The girls are adorable and made me feel so comfortable. I explained what i was looking for and my sales associate presented me with an array of options. Usually i find this type of intimate shopping difficult but i actually had trouble choosing from a few different perfect choices.
