The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. For my entrée, I had the skirt steak with beans, pico de gallo, enchilada, and rice. The flavors were solid, but again, the plate came out lukewarm. For a Tex-Mex spot, temperature really matters. I don't need it piping hot, but I do expect my food to feel freshly made and properly heated when it arrives. That was my only disappointment.
