I really liked this place, we saw it driving on the highway, and the sign caught our attention. We looked up the menu and they had a lot of authentic Mexican food. Things that you cannot find locally, usually. The tacos were really good, but the octopus was a little chewy. My wife got tongue tacos and she said she had one bad piece but otherwise they were pretty good. I got a giant quesadilla and it was absolutely delicious. We both got Micheladas and they were good. The last two times I went with friends for my birthday and then after work. Pros: - It's spacious - It's clean - The food was decent and the portions were massive. - There is another room for live music. - They had a mariachi Cons: - it's really hot. The first time they claimed it was because they were pushing the air to the other room they had for live music. The second time, it was just as hot. I'm not down for sweating while I eat. - There is no drink menu so it gets awkward when ordering a mixed drink with the waiter running back to the bar to ask questions. read more

Greeted with distain. Server didn't understand English. She couldn't answer questions about entrees. Food was horrible. No flavor and expensive for only an ounce of meat. There were 4 of us and 3 of our meals were not worth eating. We paid for all but the 1 that wasn't touched. 1 bite and the taste of feta cheese mixed with egg had an instant negative affect. Who serves that at dinner in a mexican restaurant? Had to wait for our check even though we asked for it early on in the meal. If you don't pay in cash you get charged a credit card fee. I order the street tacos= 2 Suadero Tacos and 1 Chicken. These are small tacos but mighty which are packed with rich flavors that filled me right up! From the handmade tortillas to the flavorful fillings it was the best comfort food for me. If you read my posts you know that I love hole in the wall places and love to buy/eat local. Went to try this place, the food missed a lot of toppings that some of the dishes needed to come with. The steak was dried. But where I was more upset with was the check out I was not given a check rather then I was given a card reader machine that had what my table ordered rather then just giving the paper check when was reviewing the total that I paid vs the total that the ate I was over charged by 20.00.. since I was not given a receipt I did not want to cause issues I left. We ordered a burrito and Carne Asada and you can tell the food was cooked fresh by the army of employees they had working on a Saturday night. Fantastic little hole in the wall. They have tacos and more tacos among a few other things. The tacos are small but pretty packed so it is good to have a fork handy. One of the few places that actually have lengua tacos in the area that I have found which is a huge plus for me. The atmosphere was great and so was our Server. The music was a little loud and I could hardly hear the conversation going on. The food was terrible. Tasteless and bland. The refried beans were watery and the rice sticky and NO flavor. I had the flautas, which were over friend and all I could taste was grease. The chicken inside was dry as a bone. There was a lot of shredded lettuce and cheese covering the food. Because if I had seen how burnt and greasy it was, I would have sent it back. I ordered Enchiladas to bring home to hubby and it was just as terrible. The thinly saved beef was like a tough piece of jerky, the rice was sticky, and the refried beans were watery. At first, I thought it was some kind of gravy to cover the food piled high with lettuce and cheese. My husband couldn't eat it (and he pretty much loves everything). He said it was disgusting and had no flavor at all and threw it in the trash. I was really disappointed with the entire experience, because the reviews said it was a great place to go for Mexican food. It was a total waste of money and won't be going back.
