I liked this place a lot! The raviolis were absolutely AMAZING, get them!!! They have tons of desserts, and this place seems to be open at all hours which makes it a good breakfast, lunch, dinner or after dinner spot. The avocado toast was great. While it's pretty in pink, I'd have to some up my experience in this cafe with a "meh". The pink boutique tea room setting is attractive. Get a window seat so the you can people watch as well. The pastry bar is open so we could see our coffee and pastries plated as we waited. The empanadas were okay. I'm not a huge fan of the eggs inside them. My friend ordered a strawberry dulce de leche pancake stack. She said it was good but way too sweet to completely finish The service was okay. I didn't feel very welcomed. I. Fact we were stared at rather than offered assistance. The manager (older blonde) practically fell over trying to get to a good vantage point to make sure we paid our bill. I wouldn't visit again. Possibly the most confusing burger i've experienced in all my life. After waiting for an hour, I was presented with a paradox-burger. There were textures that I didn't think could ever coexist in a bun before -- Cold, dense, mushy, crumbly, stale. This bun sat obstinately on opposing ends of spectrums. I sat in disbelief as both my understanding of food, and the burger, fell apart, before my eyes. I still think about this burger years later. read more

These cafes are in a word... cute, almost too cute. The venue appears just like a tea party from a storybook. We ordered a slice of passionfruit cheesecake, lemon cake, a couple of alfajores, and some tea. They were tasty enough to munch on, but not the best cakes. The passionfruit cheesecake was a little dense and the flavor was more of a flat sour taste than passionfruit-y. The lemon cake was quite good, but dry. The alfajores were not bad, also a little dry to the taste. A nice place to sit and relax, or have a late night dessert. They also offer sandwiches and a multitude of other cafe options. read more

On our last day in Buenos Aires, we wandered around Palermo checking out the cute shops and cafes in the neighborhood and stopped into La Panera Rosa for a cool drink and a place to sit down. This pink, girly, Pinterest-perfect cafe is a charming place to enjoy a treat and get out of the sun! The place is surprisingly large -- it has sidewalk seating out front, and then the restaurant goes back further than you think, with tables and booths behind the counter. The decor is shabby-chic-meets-rustic with blackboard menus, old-fashioned soda water siphons on high wooden shelves, and glass cloches full of cakes and pastries on the marble counter. The servers wear pink kerchiefs and adorable little pink-and-white uniforms, and the "rosa" theme carries throughout the place. In addition to coffee, tea, and juice drinks, they have sweets and baked goods and also serve a lunch menu of salads and sandwiches. I REALLY wanted to try an alfajor, but didn't want to spoil my lunch, so we stuck to fruit juices (about AR$50), which are really more like gigantic smoothies. I had the mango/citrus one, which was very fresh and sweet and had a great mango flavor, and my boyfriend had the mixed fruit drink, which was also good and seemed to have berries as well. As with all restaurants in Argentina, you won't be rushed or given the evil eye if you take up a table for too long. There were plenty of people sitting by themselves enjoying lunch or reading the paper with no pressure to buy anything else. Our server brought our drinks fairly quickly and then left us alone -- we had to flag her down to get the bill. While it's undeniably extremely pink and cute inside, the vibe is very low-key and friendly, so don't be afraid of the girliness! A nice place to stop in for a snack or light meal while you're browsing around Palermo. read more

The best breakfast we had in Buenos Aires. I got the waffles with banana, strawberries, chocolate, and dulce and my boyfriend got the waffles with potatoes, bacon, and eggs. All was delicious but I would not really recommend the Frappes. Just sticking with a simple coffee or latte would be better than the flavor washed frappe. This was my first restaurant visit in Buenos Aires in a couple of years, and I was very satisfied with it. It looks really cute and the food is quite good. The waitresses were more than friendly and very alert as well. There's outdoor sitting for when it's nice out, and the service was surprisingly quick. The portions are enough to fill you and they have a large variety of beverages that surprised me. For dessert I ordered the nutella crepe, it was absolutely fantastic, but it's very hard to mess something like that up. My only problem is that if you choose to sit outside, you will be interrupted mid-meal several times by beggars. We had to stop eating three times, and while it's understandable (and incredibly common in the area) it did make our evening a little bit uncomfortable, constantly aware of our surroundings for the next interruption. The place looks cute from outside, but don't fall for it! We had a very poor experience here and I'd recommend saving the frustration and money by choosing another place down the block. Upon walking in, we were given menus. Awhile later, we flagged down a waiter to take our order (Please note: they avoid customers here. You basically need to walk to the kitchen and ask them to take your order). At this point, they tell us that they are "out" of virtually the entire menu including all crepes, all waffles, the vast majority of the sandwiches, and all entrees. We were left to choose from some pastries and cakes, as well as 3 salads, and 3 sandwiches. We decided to go for a salad and sandwich. These took over an hour to be prepared. We asked the waitress where they were, and suddenly they appeared immediately (forgotten about). The salad was completely wilted and just tasted off, not fresh at all. Same goes for the sandwich, which was served with cold french fries given that the meals were sitting for so long. As other diners came in, they started telling people the entire kitchen wasn't working. We could see them making the waffles and crepes that they told us they were out of, so no idea what was going on with this place except that they clearly didn't want to be serving people. The prices are pretty outrageous for BA ($15 per sandwich) and waitstaff were extremely unfriendly and unavailable. I would really recommend choosing another spot. read more

I have to admit that I was drawn in by the pink! Such a cute place, however I visited the store in Las Canitas. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The food was amazingly delicious! I had the French toast which was moist brioche cooked French toast style with a drizzle of honey on the plate and cream and preserves for toppings. Had a cup of tea as well. This is the cutest little pink cafe with delicious sweet treats for breakfast and savoury crepes and waffles for lunch as well. It serves breakfast all day and the prices are very reasonable. I had the French toast breakfast with tea and thoroughly enjoyed it. My sister had a Nutella and fruit crepe which was also delicious, though she wished she could have had it warmed up. The Nutella and fruit waffles were also yummy. The cafe was all pink and warm and welcoming, with free wifi and friendly service (English speaking as well as Spanish speaking!). Very good medialunas, some of the best in the area. Juicy and a tad sweet. We have been coming back just for those. The service can be extremely slow, and the food may come out a bit cold, esp. during busy hours. So the best bet is to stick with medialunas and maybe fresh juices, lemonades or smoothies which they have a large selection of. read more
