Ceviche fish had skin. It was not good

TERRIBLE! Service was super slow. Took 1 hour to get our food. Guacamole had NO flavor no lemon or cilantro. Ceviche was large pieces of fish with skin.

Excellent service and location, right across from the Tesoro resort I stayed at on the marina close to all the bars and clubs to hit after. Salad was made of fresh vegetables with a balsamic dressing and the bread came with chimchurri sauce that was some of the best ive had. I had a rib bone cut that was cooked to perfection and came with a potato salad. A glass of malbec paired well and will def be back the next time im in Cabo, great Argentinian steakhouse. Bread with sauces (chimmichurri, eggplant & roasted pepper)

OMG if you have never been here, be forewarned that the portions are HUGE!!! The hubs and I stopped in. The place was pretty empty and extremely quiet. They bring out a basket of tasty bread that comes with 3 dipping sauces (eggplant, which was really tasty, chimmichurri, and roasted pepper). I had 1 piece and el hubbo had the rest. LOL. We were fairly hungry so we started with salads (and quite honestly, we needed to eat some veggies since we always get off of eating habits while on vacation). The salads were good size and tasted really fresh. Both hubs and I got the filet which tasted good but ... geez, we were expecting it to be a 6 oz filet ... I honestly think it was about 10-12 ozs. We each ended up taking the extra half back to the resort and ate it before our tour this morning BAHAHA! The filet is served with potato and a pepper which had a nice kick to it. In hindsight, we should have split one Filet entree, as that would have been plenty!

I was surprised to not find this restaurant on Yelp so I added the business. There are over 100 reviews on Trip Advisor for this great restaurant and it has a 4 1/2 star rating there. The dinner started out by them bringing some toasted house made bread with a trio of dipping sauces which could make for a great appetizer, but we ordered some appetizers that included two empanadas stuffed with chorizo and sausage and one with ham and cheese. The pastry around each was light and somewhat croissant like. For the main course we ordered the Argentinian Flank Steak for two, which was huge and perfectly seasoned. It came with side of potato salad which was nice and was reminiscent of a German style. Overall, after a week of dining around the resorts and restaurants in Cabo, this was the best meal we had and we'll be back.

We've been to most locations for meals in Cabo when visiting over the years. We were interested in trying this restaurant because we had some family in town. We were able to walk in on a Sunday without a reservation and will probably see them. The service was very friendly and attentive. We asked several questions about the portions of steak and the waiter was able to tell us. We were two couples and we each ordered a salad to share a steak to share and a side of french fries. We ordered the ribeye cooked medium and our friends ordered the personal skirt steak also cooked medium. When they arrive they were served on wooden boards with a side of potato salad. I expected the ribeye to be a slightly bit thicker in cut and it was slightly overcooked. The personal skirt steak was 11 ounces of meat more than enough for two people. Probably a table of four could've shared it. So if you do order the skirt steak and you are to people I suggest that you order the personal one over the one for two people on the menu. both steaks were flavorful and juicy I would have to say that the skirt steak tasted far superior even though I am a Ribeye fan. The potato salad was outstanding as where the crispy french fries and mixed green salad. We only ordered one sangria at the table as we had also ordered bottles of water. We opted not to have dessert but noticed the table ordering two types of chocolate desserts that look very appealing. We parked at the parking lot at to Tesoro across the street because we did not know that the restaurant had valet parking. Additionally they only take cash tips so you might want to have on hand some pesos or US dollars. We were able to split the bill and my guest and I spent $53 US. We opted not to dress up to well for this dinner. I actually wear shorts and a top and most people were in shorts and T-shirts. We probably would return and order a different kind of meat perhaps the skirt steak or the fillet.

Argentinian skirt steak for two people

Where do I even start with this establishment! First appearance, it was definitely more modern/chic, located within a 5 minute walk from the Playa Grande resort! My husband was craving steak, so we decided on this location out of three choices. And man was it the best decision ever! Our waiter was very respectful, humorous, and courteous - I wish I could've gotten his name. There was also complimentary bread with butter, and some side condiments to try - we favored the oil and herbs. We started our dinner with the tuna which came with crackers, and we decided on sharing the Argentinian skirt steak for two, which also came with grilled pepper and potato salad. The tuna, was a different taste than what we usually would expect back home but it was AMAZING. As for the steak?! IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! For a steak that's shareable for two people?! It could've fed 3! Portions are huge. I don't know why People don't come here?! We also had maybe 4 canned cokes, and our bill was $88usd. Considering the amount and quality, that was well worth it!

A lot of plates come with potato salad as the side and since I am not a fan I wish they had more to choose from.

The waitor was attentive and he brought out complimentary dessert for the table following our meal. You've got a tree growing in the middle of the restaurant, are there going to be some bugs in an open air restaurant, hell yes there is. But who cares, you're in Cabo on vacation, and you just took a scorpion shot at the cantina next door. 10/10 Recommend!

Roasted Grill & Bar was an absolute highlight of our recent trip to Cabo! We planned one evening…read moreout for dinner and landed on Roasted in downtown Cabo, and we hit the jackpot! The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!

The atmosphere was open air, music and vibe were chill. I tried the Rodizio. The starters included a creamy zuchinni soup that was surprisingly tasty, a spinach salad with walnuts, crumbled bleu cheese and dressing, and coleslaw. Side dish with the dinner was mashed potatoes and a sweet potato. The meats served included: Flank Steak, Top Sirloin, Chorizo Sausage, Bacon wrapped Turkey Breast, Rib Eye, Filet Mignon, Chicken Wing, Shiskabob,, Pork Loin with parmegian cheese,, Chicken Thigh, Carmelized pineapple. (They also brought some tasty mushrooms with melted parmesan. Seemed I didn't get the chicken thigh or lamb leg, but I sat there and ate everything for an hour because, well, I never get full, but eventually decided it was time to stop. The food did not disappoint. Price about $50 USD. Totally worth it. The only criticism was that the chicken was a bit burned on the outside. I'll be back with friends. Be sure to arrive very hungry like I did, otherwise you might not get to taste everything.
