    Ceviche and quinoa salad, Valencian

Yelp served us well selecting this spot for great lunch and drinks. Very laid back vibe as you expect for a casual, drop in, dining venue. The staff was attentive and helpful. Very nice spot!!

figelles (pork sliders) and ensalada (salad)

omgg literally our favorite place during our entire vacation in Spain that we went here for dinner 2 nights in a row. pretty much every single dish we had here was phenomenal. The tuna tartar and the calamares were great, and the ensalada de la otra parte and the pork sliders (figatells) were so good that we got them both nights!!!!! the second night also included the secreto ibérico which are deliciously seasoned and cooked pork ribs. the venue features live music on alternating Tuesday nights as well which are really fun and the whole restaurant is lit up with music and dance!!

The food was delicious and the staff was really nice! I would recommend the squid and the buratta salad.

The service was phenomenal. Super welcoming to visitors and wanted to take the time to inform us on everything being served. Food was delicious! Everything was included in the price per person. For 35 euros per person you get three starters, drinks, Paella, and dessert. One of the best experiences on our trip so far!

When in Valencia, the birthplace of paella, one must go to the BEST place to taste it for real…read more Right? Sure, there are hundreds of places offering "original" paella and many tourists fall for those glitzy pictures on the sidewalk signs. But not me. I asked a lifetime resident, a food aficionado, a trusted source for his favorite. He was quick with a response and didn't even have to think about it. Casa Cesar. Situated back from the sea front away from those "in your face" restaurants capitalizing on proximity to the beach with high visibility, you really need to look hard to find this place. Even the taxi driver drove by it twice! But you need to find it. It's ridiculous. Greeted by the owner (?) who gave every single table attention and an explanation of how this meal works. No menu. Fixed price. 3 appetizers (unreal - and oh my, those cockles?), unlimited wine and beer, seafood paella featuring fresh that day fish, shrimp and assorted seafood, dessert, and a choice of after dinner drink. Everything was remarkable but that paella? OMG! Cooked slowly to order, the flavors were full and divine. The crispy black edges of the rice were exactly as they should be. I've had paella in many places in Spain but this? Best ever? Yes indeed. Best ever. Service was friendly, atmosphere delightful, value incredible. Yep. Pricing was €28 per person. Go ahead. Re-read what you get for that. But you know, I would have gladly paid twice that and been happy. Wow. I'm still dreaming of this meal.

We were ok with the seafood paella and just wanted to have the sough after socarrat! We chose a tasting menu that includes different varieties of seafood (not in pictures!) and then the main is the paella, then dessert at the end. The food is great! The paella is amazing! I will always be dreaming about that socarrat! The dessert options are: strawberries in orange juice and something- pumpkin cake. The latter was delicious! Ambiance is great we were seated at the patio/outdoor but with roof so that was comfortable. I put 4 stars because i think the servers could be more friendly I guess? They were so busy and a bit snobbish I would say. When they asked if my daughter will eat something we said she had her lunch and really is picky anyway, the server made a bit of a face. It felt awkward. Overall, the food is great and lives up to the hype!
