Mi Lindo Michoacan - Lilburn, Georgia…read more 4.5 out of 5 Stars | We Stayed There Food Review If you're looking for authentic Mexican food in Lilburn, Georgia, Mi Lindo Michoacan is definitely a spot worth checking out. This taqueria and bar serves a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, but what brought us in was their weekend Mexican food buffet, available Saturday and Sunday. And this isn't your typical buffet. From the moment we arrived, the service was on point. The waiters and buffet servers were friendly, attentive, and kept things moving despite the restaurant being extremely busy. The décor also fits the experience perfectly, giving the restaurant an authentic Mexican atmosphere that complements the food. THE FOOD The buffet was packed with choices. We found everything from pozole and meatballs to fajita meat for building tacos, along with plenty of other traditional Mexican dishes. But one of the biggest highlights? Fresh, handmade tortillas prepared right there on-site. Those tortillas were amazing and took the tacos to another level. There is a huge difference between pulling a tortilla out of a package and eating one that has just been handmade and cooked fresh. Another major positive was how well they kept the buffet stocked. Even with a packed restaurant, there was plenty of food available. THE PROS The service was excellent from the waiters to the buffet servers. The authentic décor added to the overall experience, the buffet offered a great variety of Mexican dishes, and the fresh handmade tortillas were easily one of the highlights of the visit. Most importantly, the food delivered. THE CONS Our biggest advice is simple: GET THERE EARLY! This place stays busy. We had about a 20-minute wait before getting seated, and because Mi Lindo Michoacan is a relatively small restaurant, things can feel crowded when they're packed. The buffet setup is also a little different. Instead of customers serving themselves, they have servers behind the buffet serving each person. There are benefits to that system, especially with a busy buffet, but it can slow things down when there's a line of hungry customers waiting for that delicious food. But considering what was waiting on the other side of that line, we weren't complaining too much. Great service. Authentic atmosphere. Plenty of food. Fresh handmade tortillas. And most importantly, some seriously good Mexican food. Would we visit Mi Lindo Michoacan again? Of course. This place was awesome. If you're around Lilburn, Georgia, and you're craving authentic Mexican food--especially if you can catch the Saturday or Sunday buffet--Mi Lindo Michoacan deserves a spot on your list. We Stayed There Rating: 4.5 out of 5

First of all, new owners, new management, new menu. Secondly, this is definitely our new go to…read moreMexican restaurant. In looking at the menu, I was impressed at the number of seafood dishes they have (brought over from their other location Mr. Vicko's has). I was also impressed at how affordable the prices were. Don't think you are getting small portions though. The Menudo was so rich and flavorful. It had depth of flavor (something I never thought I would say about Menudo). The alambre was a meat lovers paradise. Just the right amount of pineapple to match the onions and peppers. We've been there for lunch as well last week and it was just as good. If you liked this place with the previous owners, you will love it now. If you weren't a fan of the previous owners, definitely come back and give it a try now!

It was terrible, I don't not recommend the soft serve but the regular margaritas are so good and strong and the food is delicious. They also have really good deals on different days. Me and my friends are going to run it back and see how are next experience will be without the soft serve margaritas and hopefully catch them on the day they are not training anyone because it did take our server a minute to come back and check up on us or give us items needed but still the experience was great it was just that one drink !

The host greeted me and let me know they could accommodate the group but the salsa lessons wouldn't happen that day due to an emergency. I let them know I let my girlfriends know there's no salsa lessons wouldn't happen but they would have live music. Only 5 in my party still wanted to join me at 7 pm. We were seated quickly and our server was new to the restaurant but able to check with the kitchen about dietary restrictions and food allergies. The fajitas and birria tacos were really good, and the rest of the food was just mid, and nothing special. A few of us tried the margaritas and they were pretty good too. We look forward to trying the restaurant again for the salsa dancing next month and will try some more dishes
