The night we went they were slammed with business, and had run out of the delicious ribs. I hope to eat them next time, though, because they looked and smelled delicious. I opted for comfort food with the Chicken Chimchangas, my friend had the tacos, and my husband had the best dish of all 3--the chili con carne, which was delicious. Desserts are also very rich and well prepared. The ice cream served with our cake was of high quality and much more dense than the ice cream you normally get on the side. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. I will be back!

The food is amazing. Right temperature, the right size. I got to talk with the owner and chef. A very nice American. Gave me a couple of the fresh tortillas to take home. I also appreciated the fact that the guy wouldn't take my money as he was assembling the tacos (with gloves) and asked me to take the change myself. This place, tucked in the basement of Blågårdsgade smells wonderful when you step in. Blue taco? Yes, the tacos are blue, that's because of the blue corn they're making from, giving them a darker hue and make them different from any other taco places in town. The place is small and there are only small tables with benches, but that's the thing isn't it? Tacos are the kind of food you eat to go, or when the weather allowed, sit outside on the benches. We ordered the coca cola beef, the Baja california shrimp taco and the cactus veggie cheese taco. All good but I like the shrimp much better! The best part about this place is that they always have vegetarian (and a vegan) menus, that makes life easier from my vegetarian friends who are always left out when having tacos.

The quesadillas was very good although the tortilla was a slightly bit too crunchy (which means it stayed too long in the oven). The burrito was also very satisfactory served with rice and bean sauce with a small side salad. The only thing I would change was the flavour of the guacamole. It was too bitter for my taste, it could use more salt and definitely some lime juice to make it more refreshing. The citrusy flavour was definitely missing there. Have not tried any other Mexican restaurant in Copenhagen so I do not have anything to compare it with but overall it was a good experience. Next time I might go for a sit-in experience.

Perhaps because they served them bare, instead of full of toppings as we usually got when buying in town, so maybe it's due to my lack of talent in "decorating" my tacos, but I found it lack festive flavour that usually exploded in my tongue whenever I ate tacos downtown, be it from food truck or proper place.
