I usually make an appointment with B, but I only started booking specifically with him in the last few months. I like his style, but up to that point, I just walked in and took whomever. They have always been polite and done a good job with both gel pedicures and dip manicures. On my first visit I was told I should get the dip because it's so much better. I told he lady I just wanted the regular acrylic fill. She kept saying I should get the dip and even after telling her over and over again that I wasn't interested she did it anyways and it's more $$$$. I was not happy. I decided to give them another try and this visit I got Pushy Sandy. Well let me tell you, I have never had a worse experience. She not only got me several times with the nail tool but she didn't seem to know what she was doing. I left there with a mess all over my nails and hands and her response was to go home and use some dish detergent. When your paying that much $$$ you should not have to go home and clean your hands off because they look like a 5 year old did them. Hmm.. I'm not too sure where to start. I sat down and showed a blue French tip for a gel manicure. Everything was fine until he started the actually manicure on my cuticles. He cut.. no no.. RIPPED my cuticle. The lines on my French tip are uneven and skinnier than other lines. I literally almost passed out when I started gushing blood. The man kept putting different liquids on it which burned. I look at my thumb and it's black where the blood was coming out! He laughed and asked if i was okay. I said hell no I'm about to pass out and he just brushed it off and kept going. Thank god another girl saw it and got me water. But I didn't get a discount or anything. After the reviews I was hesitant but decided to give them a try. My mom and I went for mani pedis. Pedicures were great, nice atmosphere and massage chairs. I'm used to language barriers at nail salons but this was the hardest I've had. My nails came out nice, I've had better but I was happy with them. My moms nails were not even close to the color she picked, she picked a purple cat eye color and due to how they apply this color and when all was done her nails were gold...not purple at all. We did not have time for them to repaint her nails and the man who did them didn't understand when we explained that wasn't the right color. I wrote a positive review when I had a positive experience which was my first time going to the salon. My second visit was not so great. My tech Sandi filed my skin more than once and the file setting was too high I had to complain several times before she changed the setting. She told me she wasn't hurting me and that didn't hurt. It in fact was so bothersome that I pulled away. "Let me do my job" she said. I said I wanted colored dip and the answer was no. Colored dip only works on new nails. You can see the cracks on fill ins. (I later did my own color dip fill in and filed my nails with a regular file and there were no cracks)She told me I couldn't get regular polish because they didn't have any. I was sitting next to the polish on the wall. The gel polish and the identical regular polish set. I asked her more than once as I stared at the polish. Worst facial ever!!!! First, she was late; then room not set up, and once in the room it was filthy!!!! Dirty paper towels under the creams, filthy floor. Then, on phone with an issue while I was in the room. Product was stinky and sticky. She said it was suppose to be that way. If you have ever had a facial, it is very relaxing, quiet, and usually lasts 45 minutes and includes a head and foot massage. Mine lasted less than 30 minutes, not relaxing at all, and left with my face feeling sticky. She charged me $108 !!!! Upscale spas charge $95 for 45 minutes. Now - having said that manicures and pedicures with other associates very pleasant and relaxing. read more

I was here on 8.30.19. I had no appointment and was quickly seated with a very polite and helpful technician, Binh. He was great. The pedicures and manicures are done in two separate areas. The salon is very clean and appears to be recently updated, beautiful. No language barriers, no rushing me out the door and no pressure. Binh, was my same technician for all my well needed work on both hands and feet. I was very surprised and happy during my visit and most importantly at the end. He did a great job. I not only would recommend this salon I strongly recommend you requesting Binh. You won't regret it read more

The one woman who works there, Sandy, told me I looked like an alien while she was doing my lash extensions. Afterwards she tried to get me to add things to my bill, for example insulting my eyebrows to get me to do a wax saying "we don't want to make your lashes pretty and then have your eyebrows look like crap". I tried this place recently and I won't go back. Not having anything positive, my complaints are: 1) I paid for a specialty mani-pedi and it was not special. I've had the basic service at other places that felt 10 times more special than what I received here. 2) the guy who gave me the mani-pedi was not friendly. In fact he had me pay in advance and then he anounced "I'm done", and walked away. I was not given instruction as to what to do next. I found him as I eventually left the center. He was on the phone with not one word of thanks or come back soon to me as a customer. I am usually a great tipper, but he received nothing from me. Worst Nail experience I've ever had in my entire life. Took about 15 minutes to do a full set acrylic. Usually if they care, they'd take 30-45 min anywhere else. Worst experience ever... Deserves a 0...do not go here! No professionalism. My sister went in for a basic mani and eyebrow wax... Without her consent they upgraded her to gel mani just to charge her... When they gave her the astronomical price no one could help her because management wasnt there... Again no professionalism. She went back the next day for a refund and they were not accommodating and gave her store credit... Seriously who wants to go back to a shady place that over charges people, treats them poorly refuses to help you as no on in charge is there.... I got a set of acrylics a few days ago. The nail tech cut my pinkie and the nails were misshapen. The polish obviously needed another coat and she was very rude to me and my sister. If I could give no rating I definitely would. The one star goes to the lovely young lady who did my pedicure. HOWEVER, the other 4 stars were lost to the owner who rolled her eyes after I said my friend and I waited for an hour for our scheduled appointment, and told me "whatever" when I said I wanted gel manicure instead of dip powder. Got my nails done on 2/1/2020. Wanted acrylics with gel polish and showed a picture of exactly what I wanted. The man who did my nails was extremely rude and did my nails terribly. He did a half attempt at the picture and they were uneven (a French tip with a color) and he did one coat so they looked spotty. On top of this, he did not use a base color so you saw the acrylic with just half of a pink line on top. I had to redo them myself when I got home. Cost me $50 and was not worth it. This was the first bad experience I had here but it's made me not want to go back. read more

The woman there named Sandy is incredibly rude. Every time I go to her she bullies me and says that I "have terrible skin and need a facial by her" and that I "have unfortunate eyebrows" and should get those done by her too. 1st of all, I know my flaws and I don't need anyone pointing them out. 2nd, I don't want a facial because I have sensitive skin and I know ill react poorly to it. 3rd, I do my own eyebrows and I do them much better than she has ever done them for me!! However four days later my sister in laws toes are chipped and my mani looks like I had it done a month ago. Bottom line- go elsewhere. My sister got married a few week ago, so my mom and I decided to take her for mani/pedis. Since I was not from the area, I basically just chose what was close by without researching. Bad decision. We made reservations and were welcomed quickly. That was one of the only positive things I have to say (oh, and one girl offered us box wine). They were super pushy about upgrades. No means no-- what don't you get about that? And when we said no, I feel like they were annoyed. Sorry, not sorry. I first had a pedicure and it was just okay-- nothing special, no massage (which was supposedly included). Then I got a manicure with gel-- I asked for clear coat with loose glitter graduation. The lady kept pushing me towards glitter polish and I kept telling her I wanted loose glitter. Finally another woman brought some over. And instead of applying it by sprinkling it on from a brush, she literally brushed it on. It was caked on and didn't look graduated-- it was more like a glitter tip (see my photo). She rushed it and caused my previous application to smear, making my nail appear jagged at the tip. When I pointed it out, she acted like she was fixing it but didn't actually do anything. I had to ask her AGAIN to file it down-- I just gave up after she barely fixed it. I didn't feel like she knew what she was doing. I've had gel applied MANY times from many different salons and when they use glitter, they buffer it afterwards and apply another coat so its smooth, and then polish it at the end with alcohol. She did none of these things. I paid too much money (oh, and they overcharged me by $10 which I didn't realize until after) for crappy nails which peeled off a week later. Yes, a week later-- when done right, I've had my gels last about 4 weeks. I feel like they just rushed us in and out of there-- they were more about making money than about doing a good job with the customers that they were taking care of. I usually feel pampered after going to get my nails done, but I just left annoyed. read more

Stopped by here on a whim with my best friend. Just went for a manicure. The technician suggested using gel instead of regular polish. I had to ask more than once to cut my nails shorter, then they were not shaped properly. She attempted to put the gel on twice and it didn't adhere to my nails so she took "most" of it off but not all. She finally changed bottles and it took, but I had gel under my nails and polish all over my fingers. The hand massage was less than 3 minutes. My experience is there was not good at all. The man that did my nails was rude, did not engage in any conversation with me, except to his coworker in another language, and rushed through my nails. I'm a seasoned cosmetologist of 31 years and I know how nails should be done. He did not apply a gel base coat which caused my gel polish to peel within 4 days. I went for a pedicure today with my cousin . Sandy did my nails. She started by making a comment regarding my toes then began to file my toenails. She was dragging the file across the top of my other toes making them burn when filing my big toe. Then the cuticle nippers came out and so did a chunk of my toe. At that point I got mad and told her this is supposed to be a relaxing experience and all it has done was hurt like hell. She said she was sorry and it's ok. I told her it was most certainly not ok. Afterwards she cleaned my toes with some sort of alcohol or acetone or something and when it hit that cut I thought I would die.
