This is the only place I go to in Kutztown. They do a good job and the staff is friendly. I prefer to go to Bong or Julie. It's close to home and it's clean. Stephanie is okay, but she is "hit or miss." Unfortunately, Danny got sick, so he is not there anymore. read more

I got a full set of acrylics from here, and they looked good but when I went back to remove the acrylics I noticed it took forever. Even after soaking in acetone, the acrylic was gummy and would not come off. That's when I realized they probably use Methyl methacrylate, or MMA, is the liquid acid used to activate the acrylic powder to make it melt onto your nails -- and it also happens to be super dangerous for your nails instead of EMA since its cheaper. They also proceeded to take my nail off by lifting them with another nail, another sign it was MMA they used, if they used EMA taking off my nail would have been a much easier process. During the acrylic, he also drilled my nail beds with the machine (which after some research I realized should never be done on your natural nail beds since it does permanent damage, and can only be done on tips and other areas). Even when they took it off, they proceeded to drill my nail beds to the point where It hurt. These are not trained nail technicians and they use cheap, unsafe ways of giving you a full set. Might be good in other areas but they destroyed my natural nails and need to step up their service, I do not pay all this money to get bad, rushed service with cheap equipment. read more

Best nail experience ever!!! Anthony was the sweetest person ever and did a fast, amazing job!! Will for sure be coming back!!

We were early for our French dip manicure appointment and were seated together. That's the only good news. My sister was shuffled between 3 chairs with acetone on her fingers before anyone noticed and wrapped foil around them to soak even more. Her manicurist answered the phone, handled customers, checked customers out and started others before getting back to her. And stood up at the station to file her nails! The man doing my nails didn't seem to know what he was doing and did not cut the cuticles or trim around the nailbed. my nails are crooked and there is residue under my nails. My sister's nails are also uneven and the thumb nail isn't even painted at the top! The stations weren't cleaned between customers and the nail dryers were dirty and sticky. Envy Spa & Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Kutztown, Pennsylvania

I've been going to this salon for a few years and loved it. They changed hands and raised their prices. I recently had a gel dip and within 5 days the tips of my nails chipped. They don't use gel remover and use the tool to grind it off which isn't good for your nails. There is a New nail salon that opened aside of Weis Market in Kutztown. I'll be giving them a try. So disappointed my gel dip didn't even last a week. read more

Got my nails and eyebrows done by Stephanie. She did an AMAZING job!!! Had a great experience! Very friendly staff. Took care of me and what I needed done. Envy Spa & Nails - My fabulous nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Kutztown, Pennsylvania

Paid 65 for a manicure and pedicure. It was all rushed. Dirt wasn't even removed from my fingernails, and I was cut multiple times. Also, they missed up a French tip. I would not come back. read more

I called and made an appointment for 3 pedicures for myself, my daughter and my friend. When we got there for the appointment we were sat in the chairs and someone filled our tubs to start soaking...they only had 2 techs for the 3 of us so my daughter had to wait until the 2 of us were completely finished to start her pedicure. Which wasn't that long of a wait since our pedicures lasted less than 15 minutes from start to finish. Very rushed, no massage was given, no shaping done to our nails...very disappointing since I can paint my own toes and go for the entire experience and not just the polish. My friend and I were rushed to go pay when she just started my daughter's pedicure because they had a bridal party coming in after us and wanted to 'get us out of the way' We stood at the front for about 10 minutes before we could actually pay and the man was so confused at what he was supposed to charge us, he overcharged me by $20. When I told him the woman from the back doing my daughter's pedicure came up asking what the problem is and when I told her she responded 'why don't you just beat him up' I told her that's not necessary I'm just trying to pay what I owe and not $20 extra. He gave me cash back to make up the difference and my friend paid and was apparently charged wrong which the same rude lady came over to us as we were getting ready to leave and yells at her 'what did he charge you?! You owe $20 more!' As if we are supposed to know that when YOUR employee gave a total and ran her card for that amount. save your time and money, go elsewhere. What an awful experience read more

I had the best pedi today - Pearl 6 Step Treatment. A little pricier but so worth it.

I usually have positive experiences at Envy in Kutztown. However, today I felt like I was misguided and taken advantage of. When asked what I wanted done today I said a polish change on my toes, which is something I get often. I also got eyebrow and lip waxing today. However, when I went to pay, my bill was $45. When I inquired why so much since I got a polish change and not a pedicure, I was told I got gel polish so it is more. What?? I never asked for gel polish today. I would never ask for gel polish on my toes. The old polish taken off today was regular polish. I felt that I was cheated and had to pay for a service I never asked for. From now on, I will ask for the total BEFORE I get anything done. read more

Ever since they got a new owner. The place has improved tremendously. They listen to what you want and are very friendly.

Would highly recommend painting your nails in feces than going to this place. The people decide what you want for you. Rarely ever get the actual type of nail that you want or actually went for. They don't know how to do designs properly and then question why you're upset with it. The owner likes to jump into your nail appointment and tell you what you're getting not what you asked for. I had to go to a whole different nail salon just to get the design corrected. The literal only positive is that they give a discount to students. Will literally never be going back to that place read more

I love envy spa and nails. I have an appointment for an acrylic fill every month m. Fill and gel polish is $32! You can't beat it. I have went to a ton of mail spas from Allentown to Reading and I always go back to Envy! read more

I have both bad and good things to say about this nail salon... I previously had made an appointment for both a full set of acrylics and for a pedicure. The pedicure is $30 and lasted all of 5 minutes. My friends, with me, had even mentioned it was rather short. The man was quick and rough. Not worth $30 AT ALL. Second, I had asked for a full set of acrylics. I had about 6 nails on previously from that. I asked for them to be taken off. He said no. He just filled them in. He asked me if I wanted gel and I said no. He then proceeds to give me gel and I told him no. He said I had to. He changes his price however which way. We agreed on 65 and then he told me 75. Then it was 70. Pricing says 28 and up for full set of acrylics. Way too much for something not even worth it He did do a good job on the shape though read more

Went with my sister to get our nails done because she recommended it. Needless to say I would never step foot in this place again. Stephanie did my nails and I got a gel pedicure and manicure. The polish is lumpy, uneven, and all over my skin. She then asked if I wanted my eyebrows waxed and I told her no because my skin is sensitive. She reassured me they use a sensitive skin chocolate wax and it would be ok. I've spent the entire afternoon icing my eyebrows because it ripped my skin off. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I refuse to even go back and have them fix it. read more

Terrible job on nails and cut me twice never going again. And was charged $45 for a poor set, too much

This is a new salon as of May 2019. My best friend and then "bride to be" made an appointment the day before her wedding for her bridesmaids to get our nails done. We were promised that we would all be taken at the same time and be done in 2 hours, so we could have a relaxed group experience and get to the rehearsal dinner in time. We were also promised complimentary refreshments. Upon arrival, we were rudely greeted by the main male nail tech, who had us pick our colors and wait. He instructed us to help ourselves to the complementary boxed wine, which there wasn't even enough for us all to have 1/4 cup. We were taken one by one, as a tech became available. The main nail tech was extremely rude - insulting our existing cuticles and nails and was not open to criticism or personal preferences. Not to mention my entire manicure involved me holding my arm in the air rather than resting it on the arm rest. Many of the girls' nails were done sloppy - nails were not filed completely and many had these bubbles on the nails, something in which I've never seen before. Our gel manicures chipped within the first couple days. We ended up being late to the dinner. Many glances were exchanged between customers in disbelief of the service. This place was less than professional and it is safe to say we will not be back. read more

hi I went here with my roommate and I got gel acrylics. after they've grown out I tried taking them off for a WEEK and when I finally got only two off I look at my hand and half my nail came off with it. they put so much glue on the acrylic it was disgusting. my fingers are in so much pain and I can't even get them off properly and now I have to rip them off and almost lose my nails. one more thing to add, when I put my hands in the UV lights my roommate and I both said our fingertips had excruciating pain. -2/10, would not recommend to a friend. read more
