I have not had the pleasure of eating my way through their menu, since tonight was only my second trip. But I will say that each time I've gotten ice cream from here it's been really good. My husband tried the "Heath Bar Blast" and said it was better than what Dairy Queen makes. If you're looking for a ceiling-to-floor list of frozen treats that drives you insane when trying to make a decision, keep driving; I'm sure you'll find a Dairy Queen or something of the sort 30 minutes east on 70. This place is more of a mom-n-pop shop, which is a pleasant reminder to seasonal travelers that "The small town of Kinston is here!" Some amenities: several patio tables with umbrellas, a couple of cafe tables and chairs inside, and the best part....a drive thru! My only gripe is that it's cash only. I'm surprised to find that this place wasn't "on the map" yet. Glad I could change that :-)

I had the double dark chocolate and my wife had peach. As we were not that hungry we both order a single scoop bowl. Not sure what these people think a scoop is but we were served the largest single scoop I have ever seen. It was enough for two people. As far as taste and quality of ice cream it was some of the best I've ever tasted. Servers were extremely friendly. As if things couldn't get any better there was the most adorable 5 week old Jersey calf just waiting to be petted. Loved, loved, loved this place.
