First time here because I received a gift card and heard there was a car show on the last Sunday of each month. The car show was interesting with a several different styles of cars. The store itself is very colorful and lots of fun. They have a moving train up top, and a huge Ferris Wheel. I saw little ones looking and having fun. They have tons of different candy and fudge. I purchased two truffle chocolates and a Coffee Mud-pie ice cream. The ice cream was very good and creamy and the truffles yummy. The price was so reasonable compared to other places I have been. They have a banana split that I will try next time when I go back. I love that you can get bags of different candy especially as gifts, or a gift card like I got. They also have a gift shop with local and Christian items. I personally love Quill and pop up cards and they have both. Service was excellent and the young lady that waited on me was friendly and full of smiles. It's a must stop if in Swansboro. read more

This was the best trip ever with my Grands to a candy shop. Their eyes were big saucers from the choices. I was ecstatic that they could easily check their candy limits/$ and we were set to go! This is the epitome of the fictional candy store of your and your littles dreams in real life! The decorations are amazing inside and outside the store. There is nostalgic candy in addition to today's favorites, a chocolate confection counter and hand scooped ice cream. They have tons of cute merchandise, even something cool for your furry friends. The indoor merry go round and window ferris wheel were big hits for the group I was with. I came two weekends in a row. Once was for ice cream and a small box of to go chocolates for my family. A candy store that is almost worth the flight/drive to Swansboro from Texas. I'm in love with this place. Candy Edventure has a multitude of candies. Hey have your vintage ice cubes and rocket pops, freshly made chocolates, salt water taffy, fudges, ice cream, adult candies, and all the new favorites. You could spend hours in here (and hundreds of dollars). I was able to try a bit of their chocolate selection. The cherry cordials, although cherry-less, were delicious. I also had something called a sponge candy, which tastes almost like a Heath Bar, and I think it's my new favorite candy. It was a melt in your mouth experience. They also have a huge selection of alcohol infused candies. I bought some wine gummies, which were more of a gimmick then a way to get a buzz, but they were a fun gimmick that's for sure. I'll definitely be back if I'm in town, but if any tourists are reading this, it's a must try! read more

During our vacation in Emerald Isle we would were looking for a different place to have ice-cream and we came across Candy Edventure because they had chocolate covered frozen bananas that my husband loves. The ice-cream was okay. I got the moose tracks which I'd never had before so I didn't really have anything to compare it to. The candy selection was awesome, there was one whole section devoted to old school candy which my mom loves. The neat surprise was when we came outside there were all these ducklings wondering around and watching them try to find there momma. This was a nice location as well right by the water. read more

Just went in today and was looking forward to it. Once I walked in NO ONE in the store was wearing a mask except me and the two people I was with. Fudge, homemade chocolates, old fashioned candy, saltwater taffy and more awaits you. The ice cream is out of this world - try the butter pecan (FYI, it's pronounced "pee-can"). I was highly disappointed in the service that we received at this store. The one lady rolled her eyes at my brother because they were discussing fudge and she gave him a free sample and we ended up not buying any. Then we got ice cream and I asked for a to go cup of cotton candy and she told me that it was too tough to scoop it. The ice cream was not as good as I would've hoped being that it was homemade. The customer service needs some work. read more

I was happy to see a candy store during our visit in Swansboro. Our kids usually sniff one out minutes in to our trips. I was my hubby who spotted this sweet treat near the gazebo. I did not go inside but my husband and kids said there was a good variety. We found everything we wanted. They bought me my fudge and it was delish! I'm sure it's homemade. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have white / white macadamia nut, but still quite satisfied with the alternatives my husband and children selected. It was quickly consumed by all! My only suggestion would be to have a different location for the store front.... or deck it out in colorful kid friendly lawn ornaments (large candy etc), bright, colorful signs, flashing lights.... anything to bring more attention. I saw a lot of kids in the area and we didn't spot this place until the end of our trip. read more

Beautiful shop not so nice service! Two ladies working tonight at 8pm were giving my husband and I dirty looks as we walked around the store. The store is like stepping into Willy Wonka's candy factory! The popcorn was so good and we regretfully wish we would have purchased additional flavors. we drove from richlands bc to eat and swing by and get some candy. they were closed. advertised time was open until 9 on their door and google. they had quite a lot of people disappointed standing outside when the girl inside remained vacuuming. no sign on the door for early closure it was a disappointment when you drive far for wrong advertisement read more

Very cute shop! Tons of candy so of course the kids loved it. They should probably find a way to prevent the waffle cone from leaking out in the bottom.
