While the firemen were young and ranged from cute to hot, they were stingy with food! They gave me 2 small pancakes (not IHOP size either!). I was like WTF because usually they are generous with food at these things! The coffee that they had there had no sugar or sugar substitute. All they had was non dairy power. I went within less than an hour of the event starting. Shout out though to the guy who gave out the eggs. He was generous with portions! As small as the portions were, those sexy firemen made some good pancakes and eggs.

My heroes!!! Literally…read more On 6/28/18, I was experiencing severe dizziness and embarrassingly fainted on the floor of the front desk lobby. My co-worker who found me passed out called 911. They arrived in mere minutes and were quick to tend to me, asking me all the relevant questions, checked my vitals and gently prepared me for the trip to ER. They gave me nauseau medication and loaded me up in the ambulance quickly but with great care. On the ride to the ER, they did a chest CT scan to make sure all was good and got me to Pomerado Medical Center lightning fast. I am so thankful for these awesome guys and impressed by their professionalism and humor. They cracked jokes with me a few times and made me smile so I appreciated their kind disposition. I don't remember my last ambulance ride being so warm and fuzzy so this was a welcome change. Lastly, confession: My female co-workers love us some Firefighters/Firefighter EMTs so in a way, this whole incident was a dream come true for all of us. LOL!! I even joked with one of the EMTs that they were the only reason all the ladies came down to see what was going on was; that the team was easy on the eyes and that was the most excitement they were gonna have all week. HA! Can't say I blame them. He replied "Awwww, and we're the B Squad". Nope, definitely not the B squad! Thank you for all you do!

Awesome group of firefighters. Every 4th of July they host a Breakfast that keeps getting better…read moreand better. On days when my kids and I go for a walk, we always pass by the station and the team always says hi to my kids. Very cool. At first I thought they had a daycare... then I learned what it really meant.... So that kind of sucked hahahaha. Bathrooms were really clean! And the truck is always shiny!!!

My son's pediatrician had contacted them for medical treatment and transportation to Children's Hospital after arranging for his admission with them along with the prior authorization from the insurance company. When they arrived at first everything seemed to be fine. Then when he stepped out of the room after updating everyone on the treatments he had given him in the office, things changed. I was approached by two of the men on the crew who began to try and convince me to send my son to Sharp Grossmont Hospital instead. I can only assume that this was because it was next to the medical center and not miles away, thus making it much easier for them and hey who the hell cares if the medical service there is substandard anyway?? It's not like it's their loved one. It's really galling to me that they didn't even have the balls to make this obnoxious play in front of the doctor. After plying me with the hard sell, I said that I was taking the advice of his respected doctor who is not affiliated with that low rated hospital that is being sued for violating patients rights by video taping them in surgical suites.. Did I appreciate the attempt to hijack carefully made plans for my son's medical treatment? Definitely not. I do appreciate that he was still given the care he needed though in the end.
