Most of them charged a fee just to come take a look, but ASI Fire Protection stood out immediately by not charging any assessment fee at all -- and ultimately exceeded every expectation. From the very first call, their customer service was fantastic. They initially scheduled us for Friday, but when the owner realized he would be in our area, he generously rearranged his schedule and came out the very next day. That level of consideration alone was impressive. He quickly identified the issue, fixed it, and went above and beyond by improving our overall fire sprinkler system -- far more than we originally requested. He was kind, professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. On top of everything else, the pricing was an amazing value for the level of service provided. It's rare to find a company with this level of integrity, skill, and genuine care for their customers. We cannot recommend ASI Fire Protection highly enough.

Firstly, is not anything that a Handyman can fix for you, not even a licensed plumber can mess with those, you have to have a fire certified specialist. That's where ASI comes in. I called them and spoke with one of their employees on the phone, on the same day that I had to shut down the water for my entire house. She was super helpful and convinced one of their employees to stop what he was currently doing and get down to my place to help me get my water back on again. Victor, the ASI employee who showed up, was fantastic. Not only did he fix the valve, but he was also a very interesting person in general with lots of stories related to his industry and adventures he had had in it. With only a couple of delays, my water was back on before the sunset on the same day that I had broken that little valve. Highly recommended. And when I say "highly recommended" I'm talking about using ASI, I'm not recommending that you break your inspector's test valve on the outside of your house, those things can get expensive.

This business is actively abusing public resources and violating San Diego law. All County Fire…read moreregularly parks 3-4 commercial vans overnight on Iowa Street, despite having a private driveway and multiple garage spaces on-site. This is a clear violation of San Diego Municipal Code §86.0139, which prohibits overnight parking of commercial vehicles in residential zones between 2-6 AM. They're also likely violating §86.27, which limits public street parking to 72 hours. Their behavior is selfish and inconsiderate. Residents of Iowa Street--many of whom live in apartments with no private parking--are forced to walk several blocks late at night while these men leave their company vans along the curb like it's their personal lot. It's not only illegal, it's dangerous. I strongly encourage every impacted resident to file a report with San Diego Parking Enforcement through the "Get It Done" app or by calling (619) 531-2000. You can cite these violations and attach photos of their vans. This is not a one-time issue. It's daily, ongoing, and reflects poorly on any business that claims to serve the public. If you care about safe, accessible neighborhoods, speak up. These men clearly won't do the right thing on their own.

FireWatch - A great photo fully demonstrating how idiotic these people are to create such an eyesore in our lobby.

Now it looks like an auto garage or even worse. They put big metal brackets with screws all over the walls paying zero attention to anything aesthetically. They had the audacity to demand $3,500 when multiple homeowners noticed this disaster and requested they move it to a more appropriate location. Go elsewhere for your fire safety needs. These people are a major rip-off! They're crazy to think anyone would ever be satisfied with a bright red box next to a mirror in the center of a lobby. It will be investigated further as to why they didn't plan this better which has resulted in a big mess and headache to the community homeowners with the eyesore created. I found a competing company in Escondido willing to relocate the unit for $1,500. I'm hoping this gets resolved better with Fire Watch. This will be updated to be accurate if they de use to do something seemingly more fair.

Then another technician finally showed up and leisurely strolled out of his car to finally start turning it off first in apartments than in hallways. The lack of reaction and care for people's exploding ears is just appalling, not even to mention everyone's pets and people with PTSD.
