I have four children currently going to this school, grades ranging from first grade to 9th grade and since they started there, I have noticed alot more responsability in their ways of behavior and in their ways of thinking.. I prescenced when the children and teens came back from the fieldtrip, and I listened to what the principal was saying to them, and I NEVER heard a disrespectful word from him towards them but being responsible. And after reading Linda B. comment i asked my children about their school, about what they opinioned about their school and they just love it. I asked them if anytime anyone had been disrespectful towards them and they answered NEVER. So i think that if we want as parents to raise responsible children, we need to begin from their childhood. Otherwise, if the public school taught that to our kids to be respectful and responsible I would NOT pay a little extra money to bring them to a christian school. It is a little sacrifice and i say little money because our kids education and their moral values, are more important than anything, 'cause they are our next generation. And even if some people complain about the school I suggest you first come over here and see for yourself the diffrence in these kids compared to the ones in public schools. And my little daughter in 1st grade was actually there when supposeably they "verbally abused" this child. And i asked her, where they screaming at him? she said no, all they did was tell him not to be fighting with other kids, it wasnt because an "overflowing slurpee" and not even the child complained about being corrected because he was misbehaving and neither did his parents. Now it would have been a whole different story if the child said to his parents that he was mistreated, but he did not.So showing to teaching to the kids respect and responsability, sometimes if not most of the time you have to be loud enough for the kids to feel authority. And MOST parents have to agree on that, unless you show no authority to your kids at home. Just think about it.! read more
