I felt so horrible, but all the teachers and the principal have really been supportive through this. They were firm that this is serious because obviously they don't want the other children to get bitten, but they were also caring and understanding that it's part of her development. I'm a third time parent and this is the first time I'm going through this. They gave me so many tools and resources and have given my child extra support during this time. I could not be more grateful for their guidance. I read another review below saying it's a good school until your child is a problem child. Well I felt like my child became the problem child but in my experience they helped support us through the challenges and it seemed like they really cared. They put a plan in place and I felt like we were all a team in helping my child. She's improved so much because of the care and extra support we have all been pouring into her. During these trying times of the pandemic, Miss Denise and the other teachers went above and beyond to make us feel safe. The school closed during the lockdown, but it reopened with the necessary precautions. Several daycares/preschools in the region claim to be Spanish immersion but aren't actually (e.g., they speak English to the kiddos). At Lulus, I feel like we get a truly authentic Spanish immersion program for our son, knowing instruction is exclusively in Spanish. And it shows. My son 100% understands Spanish when it is spoken to him and he mixes Spanish and English in his vocabulary regularly.
