Pan Dulce is always delicious and fresh. My favorite are the ones that are wrapped in small plastic bags to preserve freshness. Breakfast tacos are delicious and fresh. Reason I came to Yodaly Bakery. Their menu consist of mainly pork, ribs, pieces of small chickens, white, yellow, and congri/whit/brown rice, baked beans. Dessert, not much available. Optional of cookies or cake pieces. Wish the meat had more seasoning (flavor) as most Spanish food does; but, not this one. At least during my visit. I may try and comeback sometime in the future where I don't have to worry about consuming too much carbohydrates as the main dishes. If you want to save about $7 from La Maginal (next door), you can come here but selection is limited with pork as their main selection and other small meats. Service was good but you mainly have to stand up from your table to ask a question since they don't often go around the tables due to working at the cash register and behind the counter. Place is in a decent space that can accommodate lar parties.

Very sweet people. Today marks their 1 year anniversary open! The place is very clean inside and out. When you walk in it has loud Latin music videos on. So be ready to dance while you wait! ( you can dine in or go to walk up window) The outside also has a speaker going while a friendly face waits for an order. Burgers and dogs are grilled made to order, so be prepared for a short wait. Well worth it in my opinion! So far I've had a banana split, chocolate sundae, nachos, hamburger and hot dog. Banana splits are pretty much standard I didn't want to be to picky the first time. I like to see how different spots prepare their items. They do not add fresh fruit on the banana splits. I always get double chocolate and strawberry. The ice cream is topped with whipped cream and on top of that a syrup. She put a chocolate, strawberry and caramel syrup over whip. Also she didn't match the syrup to the ice cream( the ocd in me almost got me) I like things to match It was delicious and I'm glad I kept my mouth shut! The sundaes are interesting also. It's a clear plastic cup coated on the inside with your favorite flavor of syrup. (Be specific when ordering) so I ordered a chocolate sundae. The syrup of course is chocolate but so is the ice cream. No biggie cause I'm a chocolate lover. I was expecting vanilla inside. It's then topped with a nice dollop of whip cream and a cherry. Nachos are served in a Rico's personal tortilla chip bag. Can't go wrong with nachos. Jalapeños are not spicy at all. In my opinion and My guage is very low. The hamburger! Im sad I didn't take a picture cause it was devoured while I waited for my friends order. The burger prepared on a propane grill. (The cook only speaks Spanish) so if you don't like how it comes brush up on your Spanish! Its cooked well done with cheese, bacon and grilled onions. It sits on a bed tomato and ice berg lettuce. On top of the veggies he adds his condiments mayo and ketchup. Closes her up with a sesame seed bun. (Bun was toasty on outside and pillowy on inside)Hamburger goes back on the grill to toast up one last time. The hot dog was good also prepared on grill. Frank was a bit peppery and kind of spicy for my taste. Maybe like a sausage? It is wrapped in a slice of bacon and grilled up nice and crisp. The dog is topped with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo. They have other condiments sitting out to add according to your taste. And also jalapeños and I think pickles? I just let him create his dish! I like my food busy so if you don't like busy food, Definitely voice what you want inside. Anywho Show them some love and I hope they have many more anniversaries!

I have been wanting to try this place for years. Passed by at least a hundred times. My midget…read moreasked for authentic Mexican food, and this place was recommended so much. I see why. If this restaurant was in Mexico, it would work. It's not trying to be something it's not with fancy decor, it's just enough. It's actually quite huge inside. Ok here we go. The service itself could have been better. It wasn't crazy busy, but the waitresses seemed overwhelmed. If you check the website it states as much. The menus are also darn good at describing and picturing the menu items as is the website. The menu is in Spanish, but there is a scan for English translation which was great! Anyway onto the food...we had the choriqueso, pambazo, a taco of chicharon in green salsa, shrimp quesadillas, costillitas en salsa verde, and chile relleno. I don't even know where to begin. They begin with bringing you chips. They were warm and fresh. Much appreciated. The sauce they brought was just ok. That's not why we came. The appetizers that came out were for the most part great. The problem with each dish, the pambazo and the choriqueso was the actual chorizo. It lacked flavor. I'm going to attribute it to a bad batch of chorizo. Also there was an insane amount of queso in the pambazo. Depending on the bite that's all you tasted. It was authentic! Let me get one more negative out of the way. The rice and beans were quite unpleasant. I know it's just a side, but for a place this great to have mediocre rice and beans...you know. Onto to the greatness...the corn tortillas are quite possibly top three if not the best I've had. That's what set them apart from any other true Mexican place. Not Tex Mex. The shrimp quesadillas were huge, and the rich corn flavor from the tortilla only helped elevate and complement the cheese and shrimp. It is the best true quesadilla the midget has ever had. The chicharron taco in the green sauce was great! I'm more of the type that likes the chicharron with a little bit of a bite. Just personal preference. The green sauce on my costillas was a thing of beauty. I can see some not liking the amount of cilantro in the dish, seeing it may have too much. I like it, but the kids did say it was a bit much. The meat was tender, and had the right amount of seasoning. The greatest part is they actually gave me a choice of green or red sauce. I personally am not a fan of chile relleno, I've had too many bad ones, but the oldest offsprings was actually not bad. It wasn't super greasy. That was a a major plus! The filling was fantastic! The red and green table salsas were spicy and delicious. It was closer to a five, just couldn't get over the rice and beans being bad. We are most definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. Who knows I may just give it a 5!
