Wow! The place doesn't look like much, but the food was amazing. The furniture were very dated, the service was just okay, but the food was amazing. When we first arrived, wasn't sure we wanted to go in since the place was empty (just opened), but also didn't want to just keep walking around looking for another place to eat. We looked at each other, took a deep breath, and walked in. So glad we did.
The hostess sat us and not long after others started to come in. Felt relieved to see others come in for dinner, especially Chinese patrons. We ordered a spicy beef stew pot dish (Marmite de Boeuf), mapo tofu, Chinese cabbage (I think that's what it was), and kung pao chicken. Every dish was so good, especially the spicy beef pot dish. The restaurant is known for the marmite de boeuf stew dish (as the name of the restaurant is same) and noticed every table ordering one. And the price of every dish was great.
