We got a nice table under the pergola with the waves crashing on the beach at 5 meters from our table. Good chill out music, nice table setting. We ordered a champagne spritz to start. It was very nice. Then we had some oysters and a snapper sashimi as starters, both very great. But the best still has to come. As main course I took the fresh lobster 'a la plancha' and I could say that it was one of the best lobster I ever had. It was presented fresh to me, then cooked at perfection with some very delightful side dishes. My wife also enjoyed very much the beef fillet coming with the same side dishes. I can only recommend this place that will become one of our best addresses in the area. Looking forward to coming during the day for a drink or lunch with the feet on the sand.

I ordered a vegetarian version of the Tiara Salad, which was just weird and absolutely not worth 26 euros for some angel hair pasta stir fried with soy sauce, topped with unripe avocado and a couple cherry tomatoes. I returned half of it to the kitchen, but no one commented. Bread, like in most of France, was excellent. Their version of a Bounty Bar for dessert was a generous size and tasty. It took quite a long time to get someone's attention any time we needed anything. The view of the ocean was very nice but doesn't justify the mediocre food at those prices.

The very nice staff presented this , but no plates for the 2 to eat it. The meat was undercooked and extremely grisly. Not enjoyable in the least. French fries were frozen just like an Applebees. The fresh vegatables were pretty but lack luster. The bread rolls were very good. It's sad that such a nice restaurant and l hotel ( the hotel Staff were exceptional and professional) has a kitchen that can't consistently turn out food from their own menu. Very unhappy.

Both locals and students from around the world seem to be drawn to this place like cows to a salt lick. However, that makes the bar that much better.
