This was one of the better meals I had while in the Carolina/San Juan area of PR. They're famous for their chicken. We tried the pork, pork spare ribs, & rotisserie chicken. We also got the sweet plantain, Puerto Rican rice too. Out of the 3-4 places I ate the rice at, this spot was the best one. The food was excellent, so tender and flavorful too. The pork fell right off of the rib bone, and the pull pork was so tender and good. The prices here are beyond fair, you can get a good amount of food for a really good price. You can tell why there was a line that was pretty long when we arrived, for sure a reputable tourist spot that no doubt holds up to their reputation.

It's worth noting that their version of a taco is not the "traditional" tortilla with veggies, protein and sauces inside, but rather the protein wrapped in a thick dough and fried into a long log. Not only wasn't I expecting to be eating something fried, but it was also pretty bready and quite bland. My friends ordered the special pork plate and it didn't look great with a side slice of underripe tomato and with a slightly too dark brown meat color (but who I am to judge since I don't eat meat!)
