We were walking by when the waitress convinced us to go inside. I found the prices more reasonable than the other restaurants. $90 for lobster and then say it's local. No thanks. Once we sat down and noticed no one else in the restaurant I started to worry. Then I came on Yelp to read horrible reviews. I was glad I didn't order the chicken. Phew. Then the review about the aggressive lady. That's why I came in. I wanted a real PR titi (auntie) to talk to us and yell from across the bar to see if we were ok. I loved it! It's cultural. There's a T-shirt that says "I'm not angry, I'm Puerto Rican" or something like that. The tip issue is that they prefer a cash tip so they need to at least tell you. So she did tell me and I tipped her cash. Luckily, the food came out so good. I was relieved. We sat facing the ocean and got so full we took the rest home.

Can someone say HEALTH INSPECTOR??? Kioskos de Luquillo is a strip of restaurants recommended to our group by a local and decided to try Antojito. Let's take a look at the first photo. This has got to be the saddest grilled chicken I have ever been served. No seasoning whatsoever and it looked like it was boiled! Can it get any worse? You bet. It was RAW! Take a look at the second photo. You can still see the pink. We were all disgusted and couldn't eat another bite. But just wait, this story only gets better (or just more frightening). We told the waitress that we were done and ready for the check. When she came over with the check we noticed that our $15 raw chicken was still on the bill. We immediately asked for it to be removed. She said that she had to call for the manager. A manager comes over to our table and instead of apologizing, she starts debating that she can't take the raw chicken off our bill since we had already eaten it. A scary reaction from a manager after serving raw chicken. She ended up compromising by taking $8 off from the $15 chicken since the $7 rice and salad was still "edible." The cherry on top of this experience came when the waitress asked for her tip table side when we asked for our change. Enough said. No apologies given. Emotionally damaged. 0 stars.

Food was OK but overpriced for what you can get in the area. Employees are aggressive and not very kind, particularly to tourists.

The line is always long here but it moves at a good pace, and totally worth it. Don't be intimidated by the people who work here, they aren't very friendly at all. I am Mexican and Puerto Rican, so my Spanish is a mix of both. When i placed my order there was something I said wrong and the girl taking my order laughed a irritated laugh and corrected me. I thought that was pretty rude, and her demeanor was just not it. However, i will say at the end of our encounter she was nice to me, because i treated her with kindness and didnt let it get to me. Im on vacation and i wasn't going to let her bad attitude affect me. The food was amazing and I would go back again in a heartbeat. We ordered a half chicken grilled. Arroz con gandules, longaniza de pollo, tostones. ALL FIRE. TRUST ME! EAT HERE. IF YOU CAN MORE THAN ONCE.
