Part of the original old cafe still has the old American style diner tables and benches. It has been extended either side of these to offer more seating areas. This is an ideal place to pop into any time of the day from breakfast to lunch to afternoon tea. Good old fashioned basic food served freshly cooked at a reasonable cost in a very friendly atmosphere. Give it a try if you haven't already. Not posh but clean and friendly.

I love the way the cosy club enhances the history of the building whilst bringing it up to date. The service was top notch, the waitstaff were attentive yet not overbearing. We were served and seated quickly and offered a supplementary vegan or gluten free menu which I thought was very convenient. There was an excellent variety on the menus and I thought the prices were very worth it as the food and drink was delicious. The music and ambience was lovely. I think the lighting overall was a bit dim for lunchtime but I think it would be perfect for dinner or later in the afternoon. Definitely recommend!

We found this cafe quite by accident when we were looking for tour maps of Russia (which incidentally we found here) The cafe offers teas from around the world as well as our usual types of breakfast teas etc. The coffee and hot chocolate are delicious. We usually just have a sandwich or cake which are always very good but I think they also do other hot foods and salads. The cafe has a very nice atmosphere and offers a range of travel books for customers to browse through whilst there which is a nice touch but also I think to encourage you to pop into the map/book shop too. A lovely, quiet out of the way place and well worth a visit.

First off, you'll notice simple, but sophisticated, decor in the restaurant. It's an old building featuring exposed brick walls, hanging lights, and hand-fashioned wood stools and tables. When it comes to environment/atmosphere they've definitely nailed it! As for the burger - my wife and I both had the Hereford Hop burger and it was insanely delicious! The beef itself is tender and tasty. The patty is formed gently rather than being smashed together, so you get the full texture and flavor of the beef. This particular burger comes with local Hereford cheese, onion rings, a mustard/mayo, and served on a fresh brioche roll. Literally, it's mouth-watering! We also tried the fried cheese curds and the sticky wings and both side items were LIGHTS OUT! The chicken wings were slathered in a BBQ sauce and I'm not lying when I say they were legitimately fall-off-the-bone tender! The breading provided a perfect crisp, crunch on the bite and with one bite all of the meat came off the bone easily. The cheese curds were also incredible and a must! All in all, you're expectations will definitely be met and I would say this is the best burger place in town.

The chicken fell of the bone so easily, the sauce and spice was delicious you must get the wings. I would most certainly go here again.
