I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had thumbprint cookies. I'm a huge fan of thumbprint cookies. There's something so nostalgic about them from when I was a child. What makes their thumbprint cookies the best is that they make them with caramel! Most bakeries don't sell thumbprint cookies and that ones that do, I've never seen them with caramel. These are little amazing nuggets of goodness! If their shortbread was a little more tender, it would probably be the #1 bakery item, I've ever had. The magic is in the caramel! It's so soft, gooey and perfectly sweet. It's the perfect pairing with the lightly sweetened shortbread. Since I had the cookies, I haven't stopped thinking about them. Came back into town for the day with my kids and I made sure this was our first stop! I will give you a heads up that the parking is a little funky, but nothing major. I'll be back soon!

They have Birthday party picture frames hand made for purchases and cute piñata. Cashier lady working the front speaks only Spanish so she wasn't much help. She had to go to the back to find some one to help us out. I purchased a slice of tres leche cake and it was delicious. But definitely a place I would keep in mind to come back for churros next time.
