The amenities like the kitchen, beer tap, and out door eating area make for a pleasant working environment. The bathrooms even have a locker and shower area so I can take a quick break from work to run and not be sweaty the rest of the day. The frequent social events give me a chance to talk with other friendly members, but at the same time I don't feel like I'm being disturbed when I need to focus on work. They've recently expanded in this building adding a large open work area and several private offices. It looks great!

Management refused to hold any of our mail--even temporarily--after our membership ended. Updating a mailing address with every business, agency, and contact takes time. Rather than allowing a longtime client a reasonable transition period to collect important correspondence, they immediately began returning our mail to the senders as undeliverable. As a result, we have missed important documents and received calls regarding mail that should have reached us. After more than a decade of loyal membership, we expected a basic level of consideration, flexibility, and appreciation. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled demonstrated very poor customer service. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this location.

What I didn't anticipate was how deeply entrenched I would be in other entrepreneur's lives. We collaborate, encourage, bounce ideas off one another, and pass gigs to each other as well. It's opened up a lot of other opportunities I wouldn't have ever had otherwise. The culture is stellar - I actually get hyped to come to work! The facilitators are awesome and always willing to help you if you've got questions. Bridget, the owner, is very accessible and an expert at entrepreneurship. She knows her stuff and has been an awesome inspiration, generating a ton of ideas for future business growth that had never crossed my mind. The workspace itself is very clean. I always enjoy bringing clients to the space and I believe it leaves a positive impression on them when I'm able to schedule a meeting room solely for our needs. Get Smart has definitely helped me step up my business game and, with their dedicated desk membership, helped me keep home-life and work-life separate from each other. Finally, I called her to work things out, and she couldn't have been more aloof and frankly, a jerk. So, despite my interest in the property, I feel like I dodged a bullet by not being able to work things out. I mean, if this is how a prospect gets treated in the "honeymoon phase", imagine how life would be as a tenant.

The private workspaces are really nice, and are a great option if you need privacy (I'm currently using one of these). Adjustable powered sit/stand desks are included with these. The location is solid, with easy access off of 78 (near I-15). With CSUSM around, there are plenty of good coffee/food options. The staff is really friendly, and has quickly accommodated anything I've asked for. Ample (covered) parking is free, and less than a 5 minute walk away. Most importantly, it's dog friendly, so there are often pups around!

Drainage is also poor, leaving excess water and suds on the floor. Also easy to track water into the rest of the bathroom. The sink is also poorly designed. It also doesn't drain well, so you have to manually rinse away the suds with your hand, and water tends to splatter on the floor. On busy days, parking can be limited. Finally, the owner called me out for staying to late, until 9pm. According to my membership, I can stay until then, but he said that, since I was the only one there, I was using up too much electricity, thus not making it cost effective due to the energy bill.
