We had multiple trees that needed removed on our property and Bevans Tree Service came by, gave us a quote, and started the same day. I was shocked at how quickly he got the job done. He really took the time to give us advice and go above and beyond, even removing a few smaller trees at no extra charge. Brian's positive attitude about life and his work ethic are amazing. We will definitely be hiring him again.

Had Brian remove a big red oak from our yard. From the start tree removal initially went well…read morehowever half way through it was delayed due to his climber cramping up. No big problem, things happen, I understand. Two days later they resume and complete taking the tree down. However, they didn't remove the two trunks until days later. Also, the lawn was unnecessarily damaged by his backhoe carrying branches unnecessarily over large stretches of my lawn instead of utilizing the driveway nearby. They also dropped many logs onto my lawn resulting in many holes or divets that needed to be repaired by me. However, the worst part was the stump removal, or I should say lack thereof. I've included photos of what Brian repeatedly said was a sufficient removal of the stump. You be the judge. I didn't see this initially because the whole area was covered in stump grindings and assumed the stump underneath was gone. Brian is a smooth talker who will promise everything and deliver very little.

Completely satisfied with Shelly McKinney and her crew. We moved from Pittsburgh to a new build…read moreand the landscape was so important to us. Despite many challenges (Pandemic, labor shortage, on-the-spot changes that we wanted) Shelly and her team totally delivered. Shelly went above and beyond to meet with us frequently live or via video conference and get a total understanding of what we wanted at our house. The results are visually spectacular, completely natural looking to the land and highly functional. Hurricane Fred was a big test and our new landscape drained appropriately! The patios where we grill and enjoy a fire pit are stunning, the walkways are perfect, the retaining walls are natural, sturdy and strong and the plantings are spectacular. And at our request they gave us plenty of areas to play in the dirt!! We couldn't be more satisfied and based on the work of competitors that we see in our neighborhood, it is very clear that we chose wisely!! We would HIGHLY Recommend Snow Creek, Shelly McKinney, and the crew of Rodrigo, Jordan, Montana, Guillermo, Allen and others! THANK YOU!

Unfortunately this company did not live up to the reviews posted on Yelp. They said they would…read morestart work in the Spring but wouldn't give me a start date and kept saying that the weather was too cold. They finally finished on 6-18-2024. They presented a plan for landscaping our property but what they promised and what they delivered couldn't have been more different. From the outset I told Shelly that I wanted shrubs that would bloom in 3 seasons. Now, 28 months later, none of them has ever bloomed and one of them died. They trimmed one of our rhododendron bushes and it also died. The project cost $11,176.80 and there was no hardscaping involved. Shelly started-off pleasant and helpful but as time went on she became testy. When I raised the issue she apologized, but nothing changed. They offer a 1-year guaranty on the shrubs and plants, but it often takes 2 seasons before shrubs bloom. By then it was too late to invoke the guaranty. I cannot recommend this company. Please note that the last review was dated in November of 2019. I guess that should have been a red flag. I also never asked for references. Those are mistakes I will not make again. One other thing of note: I visited their property and never saw any plants or shrubs. I suspect that they buy the plants from other nurseries, mark them up and install them. Beware!

Drue removed the railroad ties and installed a stone wall to line the patio. It was done really well, so we hired them again this year for a larger project. Our back yard has a slope of nearly 30 degrees and was covered with grass that needed constant attention. We hired Drue to install two 100 foot long stone walls to terrace the upper portion of the yard, remove invasive English ivy, and regrade to remove all the existing grass. They also removed several overgrown trees and a dead tree and installed new plants. This was a really big job that took three weeks to complete. We are extremely happy with the result. The project was completed under budget and Drue, Brittany, and their entire crew were terrific to work with. I highly recommend Sokol Landscaping.

We replaced a failing uneven brick sidewalk, patio, and front porch with beautiful flagstone. This project has added a huge amount to our home's value, and we couldn't be happier with the way it went.
