Jocelyn saved me. I…read morefirst sought out Jocelyn's Services, because she is one of the few certified divorce Financial analysts in town. I was served divorce papers, and I knew we would have to divide our assets. Because my (now) ex-husband was the finance person in our marriage, I had little to no clue what all we had built in the last 15 years, and what I had, and what he had. I needed perspective, I needed guidance, I need a Jocelyn. True, I could have sought out this kind of financial planning from my attorney, but my attorney charges double what Jocelyn does, and he is not a certified financial planner. With Jocelyn being a certified divorce financial analyst, she knows the laws regarding what is able to be shared, what was his, what was mine, and all of the things I needed to ask for in the settlement. I saw her before I chose my attorney, so that I had something to go into his office with, that I wasn't just Flying Blind. Because you always know your attorney is on your side... But are they? Jocelyn gave me an idea of what I would come out of this divorce with, what was fair, so that I wouldn't be taken advantage of by opposing council, not knowing what my current financial situation was. Without Jocelyn's help, I would have been totally f*****. After the divorce settlement was final, I retain Jocelyn services to invest the money I had pending from a pension, and an old 401k. Not only did she make it easy, she coached me along the way of exactly what we were doing, put me on a budget, and taught me a lot about my own financial future. I now have the tools with me to not only provide for myself, but invest in my own future for me. This gave me strength and Independence that I never knew I had. Jocelyn is smart, funny, down-to-earth, and she really cares about her clients.

Al and Michele were both clear, they explained what documents they needed and why they needed them. They returned every single phone call and email. I truly felt like this company had our best interests in mind throughout the process. I didn't feel like I was just a folder with a $ attached to it... Great customer service, if I ever need to contact a mortgage company in NV again, I will check in with Al first. I will also be referring friends in need of a mortgage company to JFK Financial and in particular to Al or Michele. Thank you once again for the awesome customer service, that is rare.

They didnt…read morecharge me my premium for 8 months and then drew a lump sum which put me in a tight spot with bills etc. I have had to call, email and raise hell to try and get someone with enough common sense to see what happened and to get me any sort of info. Each time I called the person was unable to help unless i asked for a supervisor. Each request was met with 5-10 day waiting period for "processing time." I even have documentation for all issues shown. A co worker also said they tried to do the same lumpsum draw after a few months and he was able to get his bank to deny the draw. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I can only assume that if the refund process is this bad that the rest of the policy/claim service is just as bad. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.

The Customer Service is top-notch. The customer service rep explains everything with each unit of…read moreinsurance. There are a lot of choices with each type of coverage. It can sound confusing and overwhelming, but the reps are very knowledgeable. It is your choice. There is no sales pitch here. I did listen to the rep's recommendations when I was unsure or hesitant. After your session, everything's printed out. Or if one has opted for email notification (paperless), one can set up an online account on their website. Claims are easy to file online or if you wanna go old school, you can print out the forms from the website. You can also fax your paperwork (receipts, documentation) to the company. You can can also select getting the traditional check in the mail or use direct deposit (which I find is very convenient, for my situation). This is a Supplemental insurance company that offers products like life insurance (there are many choices, cash value, death benefit), accidental death and dismemberment (ADD), and critical illness/hospital visit, disability insurance (like AFLAC), cancer policy, etc. One can choose individual plans and family plans, when available. Again, no pressure. You decide what coverage you need. We've had at least three or four meetings with this company. Any changes to your policies? You can contact them online (it is encrypted) or you can can call the local office. Of course, if there are any life changes (marriage, divorce, had a child, etc.), you will want to notify the company. I highly recommend it. (One never knows when one will need surgery. This is peace of mind.)
