The MOST DISRESPECTFUL,DISHONEST,UNDERHANDED, AND SHADY FINANCING SITUATION I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. This relationship with JFK financial will constitute the 4th time i have been involved in purchasing a house. Not to mention over 10 vehicle purchases as well as other financial interactions with loan companies. I have never been treated so disrespectful in any interaction I have had like I was with this one. They flat lied to me and directly misled me to beleive one thing and then at the closing table popped up with a cash at closing number that was 18 thousand dollars more than what I was told it would be. Then when I challenged them and asked questions I was talked to like I was a child and complete idiot and completely disrespected. It was absolutely unbelievable. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy because I would never want anyone to be mislead and lied to about such a large purchase. Then when I asked them to set the first payment date out a few extra weeks because of all the extra money they magically requested the offer was more of an insult than an offer. We close on December 6th and the first payment is due on the 1st of January. Not even 30 days out for the first payment. I asked them to change the date to give my son a little extra time to recoup his cash flow and make the first payment. The offer was. We will need to bring everyone back in and resign all the documents, and by the way they knew it wasbdifficult to get everyone in to sign in the first place so they knew that would be a difficult task, then we would have to put another 2,500.00 dollars down including penalties and interest and who knows what other fees we would have to pay to extend the payment date out. Basically amounting to it costing more to change the first payment date than it would to have just made the payment. Then beleive it or not that actually suggested that since I have a grace period of 15 days before the payment is considered late I actually have almost 45 days before the 1st payment is due. So they literally told me that I should be late on my first payment because they didn't want to accommodate me. Now just a little more context for this review, my wife and I are trying to help our son and his friend buy a house. We sold one of our houses and rolled the profits from that house into a new one and everything was right down to the wire on the contracts and the closings so basically our hands where tied and they knew this and took complete advantage of the situation to complete steal a large amount of money from me. I was originally told I would need to out 10 percent down on the new house which amounted to 43 thousand dollars. I wasbfine with that but when all was said and done I would have to putb61 thousand down to hold the deal together or loose mybernest money deposit and then my son would be without a home because the other house he was living in sold and he needed to close on the new house to have a place to live. So bottom line. I sold my house. Profit after payoff was approximately 121,000.00 was suppose to out 43 thousand down and close on new house. Was gonna take the extra and install solar and new appliances into my sons new house. But after all fees and lies and swindling I end up with 12 thousand dollars in profit from the 121 thousand dollars and the agent and loan officer literally made twice as much as me since the agent collected 14 thousand dollars off the sale of the first house and around 10 thousand off the second house so he got 24 thousand and god only knows how much JFK financial will steal from me but this has turned out to be the worst experience of my life buying anything. And let me make it a lot worse than what it has been so far. The main reason this all happened is because I trusted a guy who has been involved in buying 2 houses prior to this and I thought I could trust him to do the right thing for me and it appears I was wrong. So all and all maybe it was my fault for trusting someone I knew but honestly the way the people at JFK financial treated me was utterly disgusting and reprehensible and I would not recommend anyone do business with these people. Gloria Witt and her team at JFK Financial did an amazing job saving one of my clients! Two weeks prior to closing on his FIRST home, boa cancelled his loan saying he didn't qualify anymore. Afraid he was going to lose his home we contacted Gloria and she made him a priority. Right away she contacted boa and got all the documents. She worked very hard so that we could close within the extended time frame we asked for and even got him a better interest rate! I guess things happened as they should so that Gloria could help him! Most of the time dealing with mortgage companies/realtors is not a pleasant experience (at least that has been my prior experience)...NOT THIS TIME. Got a pre approval from these guys last year while relocating to Vegas. Took the pre approval to the realtor and once we found the home, neither us or the realtor could get a hold of them. As in, they just fell off the face of the earth. No calls or emails returned, nothing. They just vanished. KC has NOT called me back after MONTHS of BEGGING her (at this point) to call me back. I started messaging her since November and STILL waiting on a call January ALMOST February. I have been patient and CAN BE understanding but after last message from ME on January 8th 2018 and her not taking the initiative to call me back I AM VERY frustrated. This was an URGENCY to me as I wanted to refinance before rates went up again. Now, I am not sure if I'll ever hear back from her or if I will be getting a better deal for WAITING this long. (NOTE: my conversations with her started on November, all through December she kept saying she will call me back which NEVER happened. I finally get impatient and called her myself which she never answered but sent me a text saying she was on the line with a company and that she would call me back shortly. Take it from me: Do NOT use K.C. McCool or this company. She will not respond for weeks/months and leave you hanging until the final hour. We were within the 30 day window and had to use another lender last minute due to her lack of response. She never sent us any paperwork, and ALWAYS had an excuse as to why she took weeks to respond (if she even did respond). I even wrote a detailed letter to their owner explaining exact dates that we sent requests and never received responses. I have no idea how she has a job because her lack of professionalism made my entire experience of stressful, scary and full of the unknown. Throughout the purchase process, Mike was always available either via email, text, or cell. If we had any questions (and we had many), Mike would immediately call or email us with answers.
