Pace location - I've been there twice. The parking lot always smells like a trash dumpster as you enter the restaurant.

Great food ! Service is spot on , always greeted with a smile , the owner personally comes around to check on his customers.

I'm sorry but this was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I couldn't even eat it, it was so bad. The beef was a puree'd cheap tasteless hamburger, the taco shells were store bought, the salsa tasted like tomato soup with a few chunks of real tomato in it. The chili relleno was more of a sopa. La Hacienda is a reliable go-to for Mexican food in the area. Service is fast and convenient. The staff is always friendly and is even starting to remember one of my common orders (the chile relleno). The restaurant is clean and well-decorated; an enjoyable place to sit and eat for dinner. I got their full order of La Hacienda nachos with extra sour cream and extra guacamole we also got a cheese dip for the table. The food was incredible the leftover cheese dip I went ahead and report on my nachos because they didn't quite have enough cheese for my taste. Like I said the food was delicious the service was great I felt a little uncomfortable with so many waiters standing on the other side of the wall talking in Spanish and Laughing as they were all looking from person to person in the restaurant. Kind of made me feel like they were laughing at people. I think I'll stick to low Hacienda in Milton because they truly seem to be a lot more friendly and excited that you are there to eat with them. read more

Review Time: La Hacienda (Pace) I used to work out in this area for 15 years and have never posted a review. So here we go! So I was debating between Socio's Pizza or Mexican. We usually always go to El Paso, but I was craving something to warm my bones. As usual, warm welcome, super friendly, and super fast service. I wish they had margaritas here, but that's ok I have a whole beer fridge at home. So I don't know if shrimp soup is an actual Hispanic dish, but I can't find anyone who makes it with this intense flavor. I always order it with rice; and this soup will fill you up with the rice in it. This is just what I needed on this cold night. I love their red sauce on the beef and bean burrito, which I add lettuce to. He had the beef taco beef enchilada combo, which he throughly enjoyed. We need a wheelbarrow to get out of here with the chips and salsa we ate too. I always enjoy eating here. So overall review: service 5/5 and food 5/5 (can't find anyone to top this shrimp soup and a great typical comparison of a Mexican restaurant). read more

Meh. Mediocre tex-mex. Food was bland and queso was disappointing. Service was fine. No alcohol. Ambience was fine but it was loud.

Great tasting Mexican food, menu is immense, friendly staff, nice and cozy atmosphere inside.

The last two times they have gotten the order correct on the phone but not in the bag when I get home. I know I should check before I leave the restaurant but I always hope they get it right this time. This is the last time I will ever do takeout here. I strongly and firmly believe that the locals here have terrible knowledge of food. I can't believe there are people here that gave this place 5 stars. This place is trash, the food is trash, and the customer service is ok. Everything is precooked and they just scoop it out and warm it up for you, which explains why our order came out within 5 minutes after placing it. My favorite place for authentic Mexican cuisine. 9nce you step inside and see the interior and meet the staff it's as if you were transported to Old Mexico. The good is wonderful and well priced, the ingredients fresh, the portions generous, and the time from order in to to the table is fast. Visiting in the Pace area and just happened to stop here for dinner. First time visit was a winner. We were greeted promptly and seated right away. Wait staff brought us drinks and chips/salsa in a timely manner. Menu is extensive. I needed extra time to read over all the tempting offers. My husband chose the steak, chicken, chorizo plate. I had the #33, but with all chicken instead of a mixed plate of some items chicken and some beef. Our food came out after a small appropriate wait. My husband's dinner included rice and beans and a generous serving of the 3-meat choice and several tortillas. He got cheese sauce over his rice for an extra dollar. My dinner consisted of a taco, a quesadilla, and two cheese sauce covered enchiladas. We both enjoyed our dinners immensely and still had leftovers to take home. We will definitely eat here again when we are in the area. read more

Just moved to the area and are looking for an amazing Mexican place to eat at. Hacienda is close to our house so we figured we would give it a try. The food was mediocre, the guacamole is literally a purée and not a good one at that .. the fried ice cream was terrible , the cereal they put onto the outside was completely stale and not edible . However our server Amy was the best part of the experience. Such a hilarious sweet girl . She was very accommodating and friendly . The manager was extremely rude to her and acted as if she was bothering us because we were conversing with her. I would go back just to see her but not for the food. read more

Pretty decent food. Have yet to try other Mexican food in the area. I've eaten here roughly a dozen times and it is hit or miss. The fish tacos taste like my go-to fish stick fish tacos....not very good or amazing to the palate. Extremely lacking compared to somewhere such as Cactus Flower. Stopped in for lunch, place was steady, got seated right away, service was great, nice decor, pretty clean. Had one of the lunch specials. There was nothing spectacular about it, pretty average overall, but there was plenty so I thought it a good bargain for the $. Mexican cantina food that hits the spot. We are regulars here, but tonight I had the mushroom and spinach quesadilla (had to request both, the menu offers one or the other.) with rice and salad. Happy to say it was very good. I usually get the shrimp soup and a crispy taco and that's tasty too! Love the chips and salsa, but the guacamole dip is pretty bland. I can't eat at any other mexican restaurant here. So fast, excellent service. I've been to the one in Pensacola, Pace and Milton and all have been consistent. If you are wanting authentic, then this probably isn't your spot but for the regular folks, this is perfect. I can't get enough of the rice! Also try the fried ice cream if you haven't. I was there on a weekend for lunch. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but they were unwilling to accommodate a veg patron. They have plenty of veg options but very strict in substituting even after I told them I'd pay the full menu price. I have been to over hundreds of Mexican restaurants around this country and this is the first unfriendly experience. You'd be fine, if you go by their menu. read more

The food is so-so. The chips are awesome, but the salsa tastes like (shrimp) cocktail sauce. I'm from Southern California and know what real Mexican food is, this place was lacking. The beans were a little runny, but the flavor was okay. I did like the rice, no complaints there. Same with the guacamole. I ordered a cheese enchilada, the enchilada sauce was a little bland, but otherwise pretty good. Overall, this place gets a 3 star. I love La Ha and have been eating at this location or the one in Milton for about 10 years. Staff is always friendly and service is exceptionally fast. Food is consistently good and although the salsa does vary visit to visit, it always ends up being one of my favorite portions of the meal.
