Service is great. Food was ok. The chips for the chips and salsa were kind of greasy. The taco salad was good. I had fajita steak. It was huge and filling. read more

Went here after shopping at Walmart. I went here with my kids as we were on a long road trip back to Atlanta from Georgia. The parking lot was full and there was a crowd inside the restaurant making for a vibrant ambiance. Despite this, we were seated, quickly. The gentleman that was our server was very quick and efficient. I had the Southern Tacos and they were delicious. My kids were very pleased with their dishes as they took the leftovers home and finished them off the next day. If you're looking for a solid Mexican restaurant in the area, you cannot go wrong with this one. Try it out and tell us what you think. read more

I came here after shopping in Newnan here are my thoughts Parking: plenty parking although it seems to be shared with the restaurant next door Service: no wait and the service was quick Ambience/Crowd: Family friendly Food/drink : 6/10 I had the carne asada tacos, they were hot! Like freshly cooked which is my favorite and unfortunately I didn't finish because I was full. Will I be back? Yes I will be back, lots of options on the menu read more

The empanadas were good but the experience went downhill from there fast. The service was horrible. Had to get up and ask for assistance two times and found the waitress sitting at the bar talking. Two of the three meals had to get sent back due to poor quality. The hard tacos were cold and bottom soggy so ingredients were falling out. The management rather than apologizing and attempting to make it better, came out to scream at us for not accepting the poor quality. Definitely wouldn't recommend! read more

Delicious food, good but limited service. Okay prices but a bit high. That's everywhere though. Came for dinner off the recommendation from a waitress at another (high end) Mexican place in town. She didn't lie. Had the Burrito Al Carbon (Steak) and it was FILLED with delicious steak. A little fat but that's what gives it better flavor. Beans and rice were incredible. Chips were delicious but a bit oily. Very white and thin. Salsa was a bit disappointing. They have two, one cold that's slightly spicy and not made in house, and one that's warm and mild that might be made in house. Neither hit the mark for me. Only one bartender, which I ate ate the bar and he was a bit overwhelmed and took a while to respond. read more

The service at the bar is always good. They greet you as soon as you sit down and check on you throughout your visit. I ordered the chicken soup. It was only ok to me. It lacked seasoning in my opinion. Chicken soup is my favorite and I order it every time I visit a Mexican restaurant. The meet wasn't as tender and I can tell they didn't slow cook it very long. Overall the margaritas are good and it's a calm environment. The dj came shortly after. They use to have a male DJ not sure what happened to him but he played better music. read more

Hacienda bar & grill review | Newnan, Ga 941 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, GA 30265 4.3/5 -- Hacienda Bar & Grill, Newnan, GA If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant in Newnan that delivers flavor with flair, Hacienda Bar & Grill is ready to welcome you in--quite literally. The decor is warm, inviting, and gives off the comforting vibe of a place that wants you to sit, stay, and maybe order one more round of chips and salsa. The service keeps up that same energy. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel smooth, even when things were busy. And speaking of busy... be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially on a Sunday before dinner. It's not outrageous, but it's long enough to contemplate life decisions--like whether ordering queso is a need or a want. (Spoiler: it's always a need.) Once seated, you'll be rewarded with tasty food and awesome drinks. The flavors hit the mark, and the clean table setup was a nice plus. While the dishes are definitely enjoyable, the portions lean slightly smaller compared to your usual Mexican restaurant expectations. Think "comfortably satisfied" rather than "I need a nap in the car." Now, let's talk price. This is where Hacienda reminds you it knows its worth. At around $25 per person without drinks, you'll feel it a bit more in the wallet. Add in those delicious margaritas, and well... consider it an investment in happiness. Overall, Hacienda Bar & Grill brings quality food, great service, and fantastic drinks to the table--literally. A bit pricey and occasionally slow to seat, but still a solid choice when you're craving Mexican with a polished twist. www.westayedthere.com Tik tok @we_stayed_there read more

La Hacienda is located in front of Walmart, next to Applebees on Bullsboro. I've driven by La Hacienda for years, but never stopped as I am a loyalist to another local spot, but on a recent trip to Walmart, I figured why not...well, I got the answer to that question. The space is large, colorful and lively. A solid vibe with plentiful space, a nice bar and a great patio...and that is where the impressiveness stops sadly. Food - We started out with queso. Bland, and a small queso is $7.50! For dinner we went the Birria route with Birria tacos and Birria quesadilla. The meat was lacking and tasted more like bland pot roast than Birria. Sadly even the consommé was watery and lacking depth. Lastly, we didn't get our full order, as we asked for rice on the side and it never came. We never followed up as we assumed the delay in getting it would be too much. This in addition to our food clearly sitting in the back for a bit before being brought out made for a less than enjoyable meal. In addition to the food, the service was atrocious. I can excuse slow service when places are busy, but slow and inattentive service is not acceptable. Our visit lasted close to two hours and most of that was due to lack of service. We waited close to 10 minutes for our initial server visit, another 10 for our cocktails and legit 30 minutes for our food. I had high hopes for this place, but they were not met on any level. The space is really great, but having a great space can't replace the need for better food and decent service. I do appreciate the forethought of our server who applied a discount proactively and acknowledged the delay. It was a nice gesture, but the experience had soured by then. Overall, not a fan. Will return to my other local spot and ask for forgiveness for stepping out on them. read more

Came here for lunch, got the Guadalajara salmon salad and the Al pastor tacos. Food is bland, not good, nothing good abt it! Asked to send back the Al pastor tacos because my friend couldn't even finish their first bite of it. They wouldn't take it back! Can't even give them a plus for service, continued to ask and they gave us carne asada tacos finally. They were barely edible but better than the Al pastor. Couldn't finish the salad because there was no taste, no veggies, didn't taste fresh. Chips and salsa weren't good either. Ambiance wasn't anything special, overall wouldn't recommended or come back read more

Service: Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and seated right away. The nicest and fastest service I ever experienced! Our waiter came over quickly, we ordered our drinks and food. Within 30mins our drinks and meal was served. Very pleased especially since I was soooo hungry! Food: I ordered chicken enchiladas, black beans and rice. Everything was delicious, although the shells were a lil bit undercooked. My husband ordered chicken fajitas, with rice and beans. He enjoyed every bit! The salsa and chips were fresh and our drinks was perfect! Not skimpy on the alcohol at all! Ambiance: The vibe was family oriented with music playing. If you're into sports, there is a large TV at the bar to catch a game or two! The tables were clean and organized. I'll definitely be back for some authentic Mexican Food! read more

Decided to come here for my mother-in-law 70th birthday. We sat at the bar and Ben took care of us. It was a pretty low key and dope vibe going on. We ordered drinks and enjoyed the live music from the band. The only head scratcher was the fact that Casamigos Reposado shots were $15 each. I've been to various restaurants and never encountered Casamigos (out of all tequilas) that steep in price. The food was good and full of flavor with the drinks to top it off perfectly. There was an older gentleman that decided to make it a Karaoke night and sing a few songs with the band and had a pretty nice voice.Overall Mrs.Barbara really enjoyed the night and that was exactly the purpose of it all! read more

Food here is pretty good. It's your typical Mexican joint. It's cute inside but the music is pretty loud. The waiters are hit or miss here. They're either really on top of it or they just keep dropping the ball. I usually get the Burrito Bowl but I got the Burrito Supremo this time. It was kinda salty, but I could tolerate it. Their queso, chips, and salsa are always spot on and taste so good. read more

Do NOT GO , flush your money down the toilet and go to Taco Bell . We went Sunday at 6pm. No wait , only like 5 tables .. we thought this is good ... WRONG. We got the chips and waited 40 minutes for food . My kids dish had bacon and it was RAW bacon . My steak fajitas were ALL fatty meat . This was the SADDEST looking fajitas set up ever ! There was 1/4 teaspoon of gauc . I flagged down the waiters and they stated the manger would look at the bill for the raw bacon. The MANGER NEVER came to the table to apologize or look at the raw food . He only took $6 off the bill . Horrible manger . The waitress was trying her best but the odds were against her . The only star goes to the bartender who made a great margarita. They need to get rid of the male manager who was dressed like a slob and did not great any customers. I know your food sucks , but blasting the music at 20 just makes everyone miserable in the WORST restaurant on the street and that includes Applebee's! read more

We will not be returning since they did not accept the coupon. read more

I just tallied it up. On the "FromTheRestaurant" app La Hacienda uses to order takeout with them, it says that we have eaten here approximately 12 times spending over $700 in the span of a year. And after yesterday, we will NOT eat there anymore. To boil it down, the two issues we've run into are 1) Service and 2) Cost Of the 12 times we've eaten there, 11 were takeout and almost everytime we've ordered takeout there's been an issue of the varieties below: - Missing entree - Missing appetizer - Food isn't ready at given time - Food isn't ready at given time and staff has attitude for us asking when it'll be ready - Order not put into system, despite us ordering online - Unkind To-Go Staff Secondly, the prices have increased! When we started ordering from here a year ago, we'd always order the same thing, two "House Specials" with a large Queso. The House Special came with chicken, shrimp and steak, and our total was always $55.42. Out of nowhere, six months later they tell us we have to now pick a protein (instead of getting all three) and the our total price went to $62.17 with LESS FOOD! Can someone please explain to me how in the world that makes any sense. At some time, enough is enough. There are plenty Mexican restaurants around town that we don't have to take this service and price increases, despite the food being delicious. read more

This place is not it. The rice was dry, beans were watery, margs were not good. Service decent.

While the food is fantastic here, the obnoxiously loud music on Friday nights- is NOT! You can't even have a conversation with the person or people you're sitting with. We stop here every time we travel through from Tennessee to South GA because the food is ALWAYS fantastic. We forgot about the loud music until we walked in the door on this evening- a Friday. We decided the food was worth it so we stayed. They bring 2 salsas to the table with the chips- a traditional red salsa and a roasted tomato salsa. Both are delicious but my fav is the roasted tomato. My husband and I split the Chicken Burrito Bowl because it's HUGE! Tonight's meal was right on par- delicious!! Our server was fantastic too. La Hacienda management- the music would be fine if it just wasn't so loud that I feel like I'm in a bar! My review is only 4 stars simply because of that!!! read more

For the life of me I cannot understand why restaurants in this area want to cover burritos with sauce and queso dip. If you research the origin of the burrito it was invented for mobility. It was a food that was easy to hold and transport. This would be impossible if it was covered is sauce! Being from Southern California, this bothers me to my core. Now I purposely ask how the burrito comes. I was told (of course) that it is covered in sauce and cheese. I asked for it to not be covered in anything, but when our food came out, it was completely covered in drippy queso dip. So much, that is was running off the plate onto the table and floor. This is not the only reason for the 1 star review. We waited over a half hour for our food while others who came after us received their orders before us. We were literally getting up to leave when our food came out. I sent mine back because of the queso dip and was turned off by both the wait time, and the incorrect order. He ate the enchiladas he ordered, but said everything lacked flavor. read more

Stopped in on our annual travel day to see family farther south. The service from a lovely young woman was great. Haven't been here in a year or two and I was severely disappointed. The prices are through the roof. I know inflation is high but they are charging $20 for an entree at lunch. We spent over $80 for four two adults and two kids. We only got fountain drinks and no appetizers or anything but our Entrees. This place was DEAD on a Sunday around 2pm. The service was subpar, and the waitress was not attentive to the table (there were only like 3 other tables). She was too busy playing on her phone and reading a book. The food was decent but way overpriced for what it was. I will not go back and would not suggest anyone else to go unless you want to spend $100 on lunch. read more

Kind of dirty, loud, ignorant of real Mexican food and the waitstaff are untrained about Mexican food in general. Visited this establishment for an early dinner, we were greeted by a friendly waiter. He took our drink order. It took a bit longer than I would say is normal, they did seem very busy on this night. We ordered and the food came several minutes later. The food was good with the exception of the corn tortillas and the salad. The tortillas were dry and lacked any flavor what so ever. It was like eating cardboard. The salad was okay but could have used more cilantro and lime juice. Overall, the service was good, the food was average. read more
