Service is great. Food was ok. The chips for the chips and salsa were kind of greasy. The taco salad was good. I had fajita steak. It was huge and filling.

The empanadas were good but the experience went downhill from there fast. The service was horrible. Had to get up and ask for assistance two times and found the waitress sitting at the bar talking. Two of the three meals had to get sent back due to poor quality. The hard tacos were cold and bottom soggy so ingredients were falling out. The management rather than apologizing and attempting to make it better, came out to scream at us for not accepting the poor quality. Definitely wouldn't recommend!

The service at the bar is always good. They greet you as soon as you sit down and check on you throughout your visit. I ordered the chicken soup. It was only ok to me. It lacked seasoning in my opinion. Chicken soup is my favorite and I order it every time I visit a Mexican restaurant. The meet wasn't as tender and I can tell they didn't slow cook it very long. Overall the margaritas are good and it's a calm environment. The dj came shortly after. They use to have a male DJ not sure what happened to him but he played better music.

The Bar Tender's handy work.

La Hacienda is located in front of Walmart, next to Applebees on Bullsboro. I've driven by La Hacienda for years, but never stopped as I am a loyalist to another local spot, but on a recent trip to Walmart, I figured why not...well, I got the answer to that question. The space is large, colorful and lively. A solid vibe with plentiful space, a nice bar and a great patio...and that is where the impressiveness stops sadly. Food - We started out with queso. Bland, and a small queso is $7.50! For dinner we went the Birria route with Birria tacos and Birria quesadilla. The meat was lacking and tasted more like bland pot roast than Birria. Sadly even the consommé was watery and lacking depth. Lastly, we didn't get our full order, as we asked for rice on the side and it never came. We never followed up as we assumed the delay in getting it would be too much. This in addition to our food clearly sitting in the back for a bit before being brought out made for a less than enjoyable meal. In addition to the food, the service was atrocious. I can excuse slow service when places are busy, but slow and inattentive service is not acceptable. Our visit lasted close to two hours and most of that was due to lack of service. We waited close to 10 minutes for our initial server visit, another 10 for our cocktails and legit 30 minutes for our food. I had high hopes for this place, but they were not met on any level. The space is really great, but having a great space can't replace the need for better food and decent service. I do appreciate the forethought of our server who applied a discount proactively and acknowledged the delay. It was a nice gesture, but the experience had soured by then. Overall, not a fan. Will return to my other local spot and ask for forgiveness for stepping out on them.

Guys!!! This place is amaxing! We are thrilled with the food! Excceded our expectations, not sure why its 3 out of 5 stars on Yelp. Solid 5

Hacienda bar & grill review | Newnan, Ga 941 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, GA 30265 4.3/5 -- Hacienda Bar & Grill, Newnan, GA If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant in Newnan that delivers flavor with flair, Hacienda Bar & Grill is ready to welcome you in--quite literally. The decor is warm, inviting, and gives off the comforting vibe of a place that wants you to sit, stay, and maybe order one more round of chips and salsa. The service keeps up that same energy. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel smooth, even when things were busy. And speaking of busy... be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially on a Sunday before dinner. It's not outrageous, but it's long enough to contemplate life decisions--like whether ordering queso is a need or a want. (Spoiler: it's always a need.) Once seated, you'll be rewarded with tasty food and awesome drinks. The flavors hit the mark, and the clean table setup was a nice plus. While the dishes are definitely enjoyable, the portions lean slightly smaller compared to your usual Mexican restaurant expectations. Think "comfortably satisfied" rather than "I need a nap in the car." Now, let's talk price. This is where Hacienda reminds you it knows its worth. At around $25 per person without drinks, you'll feel it a bit more in the wallet. Add in those delicious margaritas, and well... consider it an investment in happiness. Overall, Hacienda Bar & Grill brings quality food, great service, and fantastic drinks to the table--literally. A bit pricey and occasionally slow to seat, but still a solid choice when you're craving Mexican with a polished twist. www.westayedthere.com Tik tok @we_stayed_there

$15 Casamigos Reposado Shots

Decided to come here for my mother-in-law 70th birthday. We sat at the bar and Ben took care of us. It was a pretty low key and dope vibe going on. We ordered drinks and enjoyed the live music from the band. The only head scratcher was the fact that Casamigos Reposado shots were $15 each. I've been to various restaurants and never encountered Casamigos (out of all tequilas) that steep in price. The food was good and full of flavor with the drinks to top it off perfectly. There was an older gentleman that decided to make it a Karaoke night and sing a few songs with the band and had a pretty nice voice.Overall Mrs.Barbara really enjoyed the night and that was exactly the purpose of it all!

Service: Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and seated right away. The nicest and fastest service I ever experienced! Our waiter came over quickly, we ordered our drinks and food. Within 30mins our drinks and meal was served. Very pleased especially since I was soooo hungry! Food: I ordered chicken enchiladas, black beans and rice. Everything was delicious, although the shells were a lil bit undercooked. My husband ordered chicken fajitas, with rice and beans. He enjoyed every bit! The salsa and chips were fresh and our drinks was perfect! Not skimpy on the alcohol at all! Ambiance: The vibe was family oriented with music playing. If you're into sports, there is a large TV at the bar to catch a game or two! The tables were clean and organized. I'll definitely be back for some authentic Mexican Food!

I know that several years ago there *was* another Mexican place in the same plaza, but it morphed into an Italian and later an Asian place, so maybe that was the point where this one started (?). There is plenty of parking in the plaza and a side-lot mostly dedicated to this restaurant. We came here for a dinner on a Monday as we had errands to run in Newnan. Somewhat surprisingly, it was quite crowded. There was no wait, but it was mostly full the whole time we were there. With the crowds come noise - if you are looking for a quiet dinner, this is not the venue for you. I don't know if this was normal, but they also had a couple of separate birthdays being celebrated. Both involved a large sparkler-type thing and one involved the staff singing. I'm not complaining, just trying to describe the vibe. And, they have a robot that delivers some of the food. It seemed to have difficulty with navigating some of the aisles, so they may need to give up on it or reconfigure the seating. The menu was a departure from a standard Tex-Mex format. You could choose different meats for your tacos, etc. They had a variety of burritos and enchiladas. They also did offer a small set of combo meals - 2 tacos, rice, and beans. You could still choose alternate tacos for them. I went with that, while my wife opted for a 3-taco platter. We both liked the food and it tasted fresh. Prices seemed a bit higher than other Mexican places. I noticed that wine was $10 per glass also. You can definitely get a quality meal here, but for us it would be a longer drive to pay more for a similar meal that we could have in a quieter venue closer to home. I don't think I'll become a regular here, but it's fine depending on what you're looking for.

Thought that 18.00 was a bit steep until the super sweet girl working the counter handed me the bag. I honestly thought she must have given me some families order because it weighed at least 2 pounds. It came with chips and homemade salsa that were the best I have had in this town and, if you notice how many reviews I give, that's saying a LOT! It also came with a side of rice and beans that were as authentic as they come. I was sincerely impressed. I got home and laid everything out. The spread was enormous and, as you can see from the picture below, it looked amazing! It tasted the same. From the massive quantities of delicious pork, to the generous topping of Queso, all wrapped in a tortilla that tasted like it was made fresh hours ago, the experience was one I'll be back for and gladly pay over 20.00 for but happy it was less. In a nutshell, if you love delicious, authentic, Mexican food but don't try this place, you hate yourself.
