Air conditioning is absent from much of Paris, but thankfully, this theater has it. I was impressed with the design of the theater. The slope of the seats was at an angle that minimized head obstruction and the room acoustics were very good. Unlike American cinemas, the snack bar had no fountain drinks, the drinks can in cans or bottles. The popcorn came in either sweet or salted (no butter). We purchased the sweet and it was fresh and tasty and fortunately, not too sweet.

Ce cinema est très petit donc oubliez les grandes salles. Même si les salles sont assez petites l'air conditionné marche très bien on a jamais ni trop froid ni trop chaud. Sinon il ne propose pas beaucoup de films donc vérifier sur internet les films qu'il y en salle avant d'y aller. Je le recommande vivement aux habitants du 20eme!

And they're artsy now, way pretentious - might have an art film you would want to watch from time to time. But not in the summer. It's so hot down there in those movie vaults, no ventilation, when you pack 80-90 warm bodies in there on a Saturday night it's unbearable. No Almovodar film is good enough to sit through while you're sweating through your T-shirt. Complain? The management is from the Twilight Zone: "It's not hot down there, it's cool - just like ze conconbre." They are full of shit. Liars. And snotty while they're at it.

It's a more rough part of town so you have a lot of yelling kids and some even fighting amongst each other in the cinema. It's not as clean and really needs a upgrade. Staff isn't the most helpful but they try their bests and that's what counts.

The grass is very comfortable but I'd suggest taking a towel or a blanket to sit on because it can be wet. Also, take a jacket! I got really cold by the end of the movie. Perfect for picnicking and just relaxing with your friends before the movie starts. We got there around 8:00 PM, giving us just enough time to enjoy some snacks and wine. They have a bar, but we just packed our own stuff!

Bring blankets and pillows and whatever you need to be comfy while you have your picnic and watch a movie. They rent lounge chairs and blankets - a few euros each. Do NOT try to bring your bike on the grass - the po-po will come after you. Why an American would find this place fascinating: There are rarely lines for the bathrooms. Do the French not pee? Also, some of the movies are in English and subtitled in French.
