Inside

La Granja use to be my favorite lunch time spot because of the amazing deal but the food isn't the same anymore. Stopped by on my lunch break, originally I was in the drive through but I was waiting for 30 mins. I was already committed at that point so I went inside to order. I ordered the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans. Got my food literally right there and then, that should've been my first choice. I use to love how seasoned that chicken would be but it truly isn't the same. My chicken tasted burnt, it may not look it but the flavors were. The rice and beans were the standard taste but the bean could've been cooked more. I had to mask the taste of the chicken with there sauces they provided.

Late dinner... I'll walk it off later. This is the number three out of the Pembroke Pines store.

Seems like I got there just before the mad rush... Went to my car and decided I wanted some dessert went back in and there was a line but of course I walked straight to the front to get a piece of chocolate cake.

It is no exaggeration that the people working here are ruining the reputation of this business. Pure stupidity I have experienced from ordering at this specific La Granja establishment. This is coming from receiving an order of JUST plantains and meat when the order specifically states it comes with rice, beans, 1/2 Ib of steak like come on... use common sense. I had to use my own rice out of desperation and put the rest of the plantains to save because it was just too much. The steak was below average and flavor was OK. I hate this place.

Spicy Fish

Had heard amazing things about the chicken from La Granja. Wasn't as impressed with the quality of food. An order of 1lb grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast yielded much less than I anticipated and the flavor was bland. The rice and black beans that accompanied the order were delicious. The spicy fish was buried underneath some cream sauce and wasn't well received by my husband. The side order of tostones were chewy and crispy, bland and unsalted and the oil they were fried in must have been old. I will not likely order from here again.

Tonight I had take-out at one of my favorite Latin restaurants. I usually dine in, but due to the weather hasn't been really great in South Florida, I got it to go. Anyway, the restaurant wasn't that crowded around 5:00pm inside, but the drive thru was so I went in and ordered my dinner. The employees take the orders correctly, they work at a fast pace, and the food is served hot. I ordered the ribs, garlic potatoes and plantains. I barely eat rice, so I didn't get the black beans either. The ribs were pretty good and the garlic potatoes were delicious. I had enough to share with my family since they had already eaten earlier. I love the different sauces, but my favorite is the "garlic sauce." I wanted the Tres Leches, but they were sold out. La Granja always have specials daily for yourself or you and your family. I don't eat chicken, but for families that do, they have great deals. They also have great beverages and they also serve beer. I will definitely return. I added the pics of my order and menu for you to view.

1/4 Chicken lunch special with side salad

Can't go wrong with a chicken plate for grab and go lunch. Chicken is always seasoned well.

1/4 chicken with fries and salad (without onions) this is my go to!!

I start saying : I looooove Pollo a la Brasaaaa!! So I'm Peruvian- and this is the closest I've come across the right flavor of peruvian delicious rotisserie chicken. I still don't understand the rice and beans combo (lol I do get it sometimes - the rice is also peruvian style. So. Flavorful... This restaurant has many locations. I always prefer this one. It seems to me the chicken and French fries and salad are always freshest here... it may be tough to get a table- yup they are super busy... but it's soooo worth it! Many other peruvian dishes on their menu too!! But I always do the rotisserie chicken...and love it!! Come and get it!! Line starts behind me

Found a ROACH or some insect in my criollo sandwich, never ever going back. I'm so disgusted I want to vomit. Just read a review that the same thing happened to someone else 3 months ago... gross.

First visit to this location, has a great menu of chicken, fish and pork dishes. Prices are low, 1/2 chicken with rice, black beans, 3 small plátanos and 12 Pepsi $8.45. Food was good, o believe better than Pollo Tropical and they give you bigger portions! Service is fast food type, you order get your food and have a seat. They have a condiment bar with varios onions sauces eVery clean restaurant but manager was sampling various dishes in a plastic cup and used the same cup and spoon plus touched the ladle to the cup!!! That is not hygienic and leads to cross contamination. You would think the manager would know better. I Update 5/15/2018 What can I say my in laws love chicken from this place so I am often asked to suck it up and take them. This visit was no different from my previous review. The food is better than Pollo Tropical and the restaurant is much cleaner. Service still seems to be lacking, on this visit I observed employees eating at the prep tables! Mind you they were eating some sort of finger food. Employees should not be eating at prep tables period. Take a break and eat your food at the tables or in a break room.

Chicken salad

Very dry food!!! The seafood and rice is like seafood and Surprise. If you like onions that's all the chicken salad is. All onions and nothing else.

Pollo a la plancha

Love this spot! When here yesterday for the first time and their food was so good the green sauce was awesome they cook the chicken so well the salad was perfect so we're just as I would definitely recommend people to come here it's a quick easy and pretty cheap bike considering that it's deliciously and well curated food.

The restaurant is inviting and spotless, with cozy booths on one side and tables for walk-in orders. The menu is straightforward: choose between half or whole fried chicken or wings, with options for bone-in or boneless, and spice levels ranging from mild to their special spicy sauces. The food truly impresses. The chicken is perfectly fried--crisp without being greasy, tender, and packed with flavor. It's a clear step above KFC, Popeyes, or any American fried chicken chain. If you're a fried chicken fan, I highly recommend giving this place a try--you won't be disappointed.

Parking can be tricky in that plaza. Everything was clean and the server was chill. He gave me some recommendations that I enjoyed. As for the food. This is some crispyyy chicken. The wings I got were steaming hot when they came out and they tasted as if they were freshly made rather than just reheated. The flavors to me were just right. I also got the kimchi fried rice and it added a nice level of comfort to the food. Initially it seems like this may not be enough but it was more than plenty. Serving size and flavors were there. I'll have to come back to try a different flavor of wings and see if they're still made nice and fresh or if it was a coincidence for my first time.

Very disappointing experience and extremely different from my first…read more My first visit (which wasn't this location), the chicken was crispy and delicious. This time around the chicken was fatty and soggy to the point the breading/skin itself was sliding off. I ordered the $12 box for reference which also included 4 nuggets, fries, drink and 3 pieces of chicken. I also ordered yuca fries on the side which they forgot and I had to turn around and go back. Thankfully I checked before making it home. The yuca fries were perfection! The Jamaica drink didn't really taste like anything. Despite all of the that, the lady who answered the drive thru speaker was so nice. The guy at the window who gave me my food was so nice as well! The only problem was literally the soggy, batter/skin coming off fried 3 piece chicken.

I had a chicken sandwich with the bacon and some sort of creamy sauce on it with a side of fries. Hubby had a roasted four piece with rice, beans, and plantains. My daughter got a six piece of nuggets meal with fries. For dessert, I ordered a caramel flan and churros. I ordered ahead of time online, my order was ready in less than 20 minutes. I was able to pick it up through the drive-through. The only issue I had was that they forgot my caramel flan. I went online and emailed to the address that they had on the bag if there were any ordering issues and to my surprise, I got a call in less than an hour. It was a lady named Katy and she told me that I could come and pick up the caramel flan or get a refund. I wanted a refund, but I needed to come back to the store to do it so I told her I'll just pass by again and get the flan since I needed to go out and run errands in the area. So I went back in to get the flan, the guy in the front ended up, giving me one that he had just removed from the freezer. No sweat because I was not gonna eat it immediately. As I was walking to the car, the girl Katy that called me ran me down in the parking lot as I was getting into my car and gave me a flan that they had thawed out for me when they spoke to me on the phone earlier. She also gave me some coupons for $5 off on our next visit. It was nice that they took accountability for their missing my flan and they remedied it right away. That for me speaks volumes in terms of customer service because they made it right and in fast timing. I was impressed and I would definitely come back and recommend to my family and friends.

When I first went in. I was a little skeptical however, the dining room and restrooms both were extremely clean and everyone that we encountered was really nice. It wasn't your typical fast food establishment. I opted to try the two piece spicy chicken with the Palabok fiesta which is something I had never had before, so I wanted to give it a try. The chicken was super crunchy and juicy and packed full of spicy nuts and flavor. The palabok was actually really delicious. I definitely never had anything like that before and I'm actually not even sure how to describe it but it was worth a try and it definitely has a little bit of an Indian flair to. It is about the best way I can describe it. I do know that it is Filipino food. My hubby opted for the two piece spicy chicken with the jollie spaghetti which is definitely not a combination that I would typically think of however, the spaghetti was flavorful. It had a little bit of a sweetness to it and somehow oddly paired well with the fried chicken I would absolutely come back here again, the mashed potatoes and gravy, however was just OK. I don't think I would order that again but if you're in the area, I'm most definitely recommend checking them out. And of course, we had to get our picture with the bee

(2/5) -- Great concept, but this visit missed the mark…read more I really wanted to like this Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers location more than I did, because the concept is solid and, generally, Cane's food hits. But this visit? Frustrating from start to finish. First off, the setup is misleading. The inside looked empty, and even the drive-thru appeared manageable--until you actually commit. You have to drive deep into the parking lot just to see how long the line really is, and once you're in, there's no easy way out. So now you're stuck. Not ideal. Then comes the wait. About 10 minutes just to place an order, with aggressive drivers jockeying for position like it's a race. I get it--no one wants to sit in that line--but the flow (or lack of it) makes it worse. For a place with two lanes, the organization just isn't there. Service at the speaker? Rough. I felt rushed the entire time, struggled to hear over the noise, and kept getting hit with "I can't hear you, speak up" in a tone that felt more dismissive than helpful. No upsell, no real engagement--just hurry up and move along. To their credit, the pickup window redeemed things a little. Once I got there, the food was ready, and they even overdelivered on condiments (asked for two ketchups, got four). That part was efficient--but it came after a pretty long wait for only about seven cars ahead of me. Now, the food... This is where things really slipped. * The 4-piece tenders felt noticeably smaller--more like large nuggets than actual tenders * Fries were undercooked and skimpy for the price and I had to ask for ketchup * Sweet tea was mostly ice, barely any drink * Overall portions just didn't match the cost For a brand that usually delivers consistency, this felt off. Like corners were being cut. Final take: Started as a 3-star experience based on the process, but dropped to 2 stars once the food came into play. If I could split it, it'd be a 2.5--but Yelp doesn't do that. This place should be better. The foundation is there. But between the chaotic drive-thru, rushed service, and underwhelming portions, it's just not hitting right now. Hope they tighten things up--because Cane's can be really good when it's done right.

Intriguing and well decorated inside…read more I don't get why people go crazy over their sauce. It's a combo of Maui, ketchup and a hint of BBQ sauce. For the caloric intake and the level of sodium in the food.... I won't be coming back for a while. It's been 3 days and I'll still bloated - LOL
