The menu is big enough to be able to go again and again without having to try the same stuff twice, even though once you had the pasta with cream sauce you will probably get addicted to it. Great pizzas, perfect starters, and a really good wine list. Definitively a great not too fancy place where to go and have a good dinner and just a perfect night out. The nutella pizza as a dessert is just what you need to become a Naguabo fan forever.

The water clock is quite a unique thing they have in their front yard. We've been here few times and the staff is very kind and friendly. The architecture of the house is very cosy inside and the environment is very welcoming. We had a "calçotada", a typical catalan dish which can be eaten from January to March/April. Calçots are some sort of vegetables, made on the fire which are then peeled with your hands and sank in the "romesco" sauce. It is unbelievably good - you won't taste anything similar outside of Catalonia at least for a while. As part of the "calçotada menu", after the "calçots" generally you have meat: catalan sausage, chicken, black sausage, rabbit and lamb with some fries and tomato bread. And as a dessert, "catalan cream" which is kind of the french "crème brulée" but slightly different. Everything is delicious and I recommend everyone who likes to live traditions and food, to go there and have one of these menus!!

I would say that this beautiful, traditional "masía" is a perfect place to do it! Calçots are Catalan spring onions which you can have from late January to early March (roughly), they're grilled (more like "set on fire", haha) to perfection and brought to the table charred. Any local will tell you how to enjoy them: take it with your hand and then press the stem just above the root. You'll feel it "snap". Grab the leaves and take the sweet, steaming onion in the middle out of the charred outer part. Dip it in Romesco sauce, which is made with hazelnuts, olive oil and paprika... then throw your head back and put it in your mouth just the way you would swallow a sword. The combination is absolutely delish! And in Can Traver they know what they're doing: not only the place is amazing --I particularly enjoyed the yard with the very old olive tress-- and packed with Catalans eating what seems like a national dish (calçots) in the very specific and utterly funny way that they're eaten, but it will also make you feel like you stepped back in time. I mean in in the best possible way!
